Greens were surprisingly good, fairways and tee boxes in nice shape. Only negative comments are most bunkers in rough shape. Not just from rain but also weeds in many of the traps and looks like they haven’t been raked in years.

Starter was a real nice guy. Didn’t catch his name.

Also you would think they would at least have a beverage cart out on the course on the weekend.

Course was in good condition overall but not a $50 track.

I live in the area and have played both courses many times. I love the courses and the people that work here are always friendly.

My lesson learned is play during the week. Saturday was a 5 PLUS hour round. No Marshall’s looking after pace of play.

Only one working water fountain on the course and would not of been bad except only saw the beverage cart twice. Once on #1 and the next time was on #14 tee box.

The conditions were fantastic but the pace of play made for a very tough day.

First of all, thanks to Cliff the GM. I flew in from Fl to spend time with my 87 yr old Dad and my 2 oldest sons. I needed an extra cart for a Sat. AM tee time and Cliff was more than happy to make it happen where another course was not. Being fm. this part of Md. I have played Oakmont in the past. For all the rain it took the last couple days, the course was playable. Water in spots you would expect but a great day overall. Cart girl was awesome and everyone there was as friendly as could be. Just made for a great day for my family. Thanks again Cliff and the Oakmont Team. Anytime I come back home, I will tee it up at Oakmont.

I have played here many times and this time out conditions were by far the very best. The people working here are very friendly, the starter Jerry was more than accommodating and overall a great day on the golf course.

My wife came with me to ride along and they only charged $5 for her. Pretty cool considering some courses grossly overcharge for something like this.

Make the drive, it’s worth it!

Had a great round today. The day started with Matt in the Pro Shop dealing with no internet so he could only take cash. He saw that I didn’t carry that much cash but he stepped up and handled it for me and my playing partner. Awesome job. Course is in nice shape and we enjoyed a 3 hour round as first group out today. Worth the trip, go play this track. Matt is a really good guy. I will definitely return.

This is my 4th time playing Providence and I was pleasantly surprised at the great shape of the course. Greens were pristine and tee boxes and fairways were nice. Yes it’s rainy season for us and it was CPO today. Understood given the rain we have had but even still course was relatively dry. Just a few holes a little wet. It’s an hour and 15 drive for me and it’s worth it. Keep up the great work!!

CPO today which was understandable. This course simply does not drain well. Overall track in nice shape. Greens rolled true, tee boxes and fairways were nice. Many traps flooded and being drained by grounds crew. Great value for the very fair resident rate.
Only big complaints are restrooms and property are not being maintained. Restrooms filthy and were the last couple times I played here. Trash in parking lots.

Got paired with 3 great guys. Pace of play was great, course is in nice condition and greens were really nice and rolled great.

I didn’t catch the starters name this morning but he was a nice guy. Very friendly. For a single player, sometimes getting out early on a Sunday morning can be a challenge but this guy made it a great experience. I play many different courses and I always come back where people treat you good. PEOPLE make the difference.

Always a challenging and fun course to play. The course is in outstanding shape. Went out as a single and played with 2 great guys. 3 hour round. Great rates for residents is also awesome.

Only downfalls are no starter which wasn’t a huge issue. Also no beverage cart service during early morning rounds. We actually saw the cart when we were heading to #18 tee box.

I’m local and play here often. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Both courses are always in great condition.

I live local and play here often. I also understand aerification and maintenance. I knew ahead of time which is good. Way overpriced for course conditions over and above aerification. Course in rough shape. Bare fairways, no sand in traps, tee boxes rough.. I have seen it better. Man in the pro shop said lost our reservation from GN. Wasn’t very nice to my son when checking in. The man in the back office chimes in and took care of us. It’s all about customer service and value! The starter struggled with starting groups off of #1. You guys can do way better than this for sure. I even got a little grief from the guard that opens the gate to one of the entrances. It’s a fun course to play and I hope things get better.

I’m local so I play OCN frequently. This week I played Panther and Crooked and both are in excellent condition. Greens roll perfect, fairways, and tee boxes are pristine and as always the staff is friendly.

I live close by and this was my first time playing here since last year. Course conditions were very good and much improved. A few greens were patchy but rolled well. . Greens were a little fuzzy and slow but overall a great experience. Keep up the good work. I will definitely come back to play. Starter Don was a very nice guy. It would of been nice to see a drink cart at some point.

I’m local so have played here a lot over the years. Course conditions are inconsistent. What’s really disappointing is the level of service you don’t get. Couldn’t get a cart. Didn’t get a key. Young man working the cart barn was invisible and rude. Lady behind the counter could of cared less. Wasn’t like this the last time I was here. It’s all about people!! Just basic stuff that make people want to come back. I will think twice before I do. Please don’t send out the “cookie cutter” response to this message. Just focus more on your customers. There are a lot of golf courses to play in Central Florida.

Course conditions were very good. Greens rolled great, fairways nice as well as tee boxes. Only issue was total of 6 players were all booked into a 12:30pm tee time but it all worked out in the end. Great experience and I plan to play again soon.

I live close by and have played Eagle Dunes many times. I must say the course was in the best condition I have ever seen it. Greens were fast and clean, tee boxes were tight, and the fairways were neat and clean with plenty of turf under the ball. I sure hope it stays this way because it’s a fun track. Pace of play was awesome. Water jugs every few holes is also real nice.

please get some decent range balls

Greens were in very poor shape and has nothing to do with maintenance. Crabgrass all over a lot of fairways. Tee boxes very rough, and many parts of the cart paths are literally falling apart and some have caved in. No caution signs around any of these areas.

Course is in amazing shape (as usual) Greens are exceptional. I live locally so I get to play here a lot. I just wish those visiting would take the time to care for the greens like most local residents do. OCN staff works hard to make them nice and consistent. Keep up the great work!
