Good course great value

Very fun course, challenging for the good player but playable for the high handicap. The course was in very good condition.
Closest course to sandy beach, I could play there a lot without getting bored of the layout. At around $50 with cart on the weekends it’s a great deal.

Only thing layer the back 9

Drove 40 minutes to this course to find out the front 9 was closed for maintenance. Would have been nice to know this ahead of time so I could have picked a different day. No discount was offered either.
Nice course very scenic with several holes right along the Gulf. Lots of blind shots from the back tees. Lots of forced carries from all tees, will be a tough course for the higher handicap.
Full 40 minute drive on rough roads from Rocky point,

Good Muni

Arroyo is the by far the best of the four city owned golf courses. Gets a lot of play, but is normally in good condition except the greens are ridiculously slow. Staff is very friendly, and they have good practice facilities.
