The course was in good condition and the staff were helpful. The Wow factor was not present in large doses but the layout is a good challenge for mid-level golfers in terms of protected greens and some tricky sand traps. The proximity to housing on a few holes was notable, and meant that drives needed to be accurate rather than long.

Overall, a pleasure to visit and re-visit this course. The food is excellent in the bar, as is the service. Same goes for the professional's shop, and the starters were most friendly.
