I used to play this course regularly, it's a nice layout, but I haven't been in many months. Rumor is the course will be closed eventually, and it shows signs. The greens were horribly pockmarked with unrepaired ball marks, so they're really bumpy. The worst thing is the throng of hacker students; while polite, they slow down play, have no concept of golf etiquette, and drive their carts all over the place. The course badly needs a starter and some marshals. I doubt I'll go back unless it's to play the Tuesday morning senior tournament.

This is an old municipal North Baton Rouge par-70 course. It is short and flat, and tends to hold water, so don't play it after several days of rain. A canal goes right through the middle and provides a water hazard on many holes. The trees are large and line both sides of most holes, so keeping it in the fairway off the tee is a must. The staff has worked hard to get the course into good condition, and the greens are improved. Staff is friendly, and the facilities, while old, are clean. Great course to get in a quick round; good value. Best to finish your round well before sundown, given the location

Excellent course kept in great condition. Keeping it in the fairway is a must, because the rough just outside the fairways, while shorter than some, swallows balls like quicksand, making second shots difficult. Greens were very fast, and broke less than read

I've played this course several times. This was my least favorite round, simply because we had a few days of rain prior and the course holds a lot of water due to its hilly landscape, particularly around the greens.

Disappointing even at the $5 hot deal price. Shaggy fairways undefined. Greens like shag carpet, ridiculously slow, yet would not hold shots. .A whole lot of ground under repair, so it looks like they're trying to make improvements. Layout okay, some narrow tee shots. Course is short and heavily treed, some water. Staff and members friendly. They started cutting the fairways late in my round.
