This is one of my favorites in the Phoenix area. It was as good as it's been in the past. Love the condition and layout. We found a good deal on Golf Now which made it more affordable. I can't afford to play this course at the normal rates.

I have played this course several times and have always enjoyed it. It was in especially good shape this time. Pace of play was a little slow as things backed up the last few holes. It took about 4.5 hours. A strange thing was that there were water coolers on a few holes but no cups. It would have been nice to know that so that we could have taken something with us. But overall a great course and scenery is fantastic.

This is a solid course and somewhat easier to get on than many. The main drawback is the amount of bird poop on many holes. It was the worst I’ve ever seen it. They really need to do something to control the coot population. Otherwise a good course. Has a nice outdoor patio to enjoy a refreshment after the round or get a bite to eat.

I wasn’t sure what to expect as this was the first time playing a mostly par 3 course, but we totally enjoyed it. There were a variety of holes of varying lengths. I used most of my irons and my driver once. Since I haven’t played for 5 months it was a great warmup. They have a great bar and outdoor patio and the weather was perfect. Morgan made us some fantastic margaritas which capped off a great afternoon.

I have always enjoyed this course, but this year it was in spectacular shape. Very green and all in great shape.

This course has always been a favorite and this year was no exception. The course was in the best condition I’ve ever seen it. Greens were the best of the 5 courses I played this last week!

I have always enjoyed this course and still do, but the time it took to play really distracted from the enjoyment of the round. We understood there was some type of club tournament going on ahead of us, but that should not be an excuse for a 5 hour round. Very disappointed.

This was a good, but not great course. Quite flat but pretty open. It was in really good shape. Tee boxes were in better shape than Southern Dunes that we played the day before. The clubhouse and other areas were under construction, so that distracted a bit from the asthetics of the place. No GPS in the cart and my handheld GPS didn't pick up the course for some reason.

We make the trek to AZ every year and try to hit this course every couple of years. This time around it seems like the course wasn't in as good a shape as I remember. Fairways and greens were ok, but off of those it was another story as there seemed to be cart damage everywhere. I think limiting carts to 90 degree rule might help.

This course is as challenging as it is beautiful. We were lucky to have a member join our group who gave us some tips on tee-offs and putts. Always enjoy playing but it can be humbling if you spray the ball around a bit.

This has always been a favorite course. On the pricey side, so you have to look for deals. Little disappointed in the friendliness of staff. The beverage cart person did her job but wasn’t the friendliest. No warm greeting in the clubhouse either. However the course didn’t disappoint. Really good shape and love the variety of holes.

As most people have mentioned this course is dominated by bunkers. It’s was a nice course and we enjoyed it but I’d say the bunkers were over the top and just got tiring. Sand was hard as well. Staff was friendly and they explained what we would experience well. For the price I doubt I’ll be back as there are cheaper alternatives just as nice.

This was the second time I've played this course. I really like this course. It is well maintained and watered. Even the roughs were green which is much easier to hit out of than the hard pan dormant roughs of some courses in the area. Challenging but fair and you can choose the tee boxes that match your skill level so that all players can find the right level of challenge.

I've played this course several times and I like the wide open layout. We travel from the cold north and I like to start on this course because it's a little more wide open. Someone disappointed in the condition. Seemed like fairways were spotty and of course the rough is the dormant grass which was hard and difficult to hit off of.

I went into this round not knowing what to expect based on the reviews I read. I was really impressed with the course and the friendliness of staff. The back nine was especially scenic. My phone is full of pictures! It wasn’t terribly busy so that helped with pace of play. Lots of opportunities to lose balls so make sure you have enough. We ate at the Antlers restaurant afterwards and that was equally good. Highly recommend this course.

I’ve played this course several times on trips to AZ. It has never disappointed! Very well taken care of! Staff was friendly. Loved that there was free bottled water at various holes on the course. The beverage carts made rounds just the right amount and they had margaritas on tap!

Over the years we occasionally play the Raven. Each time we've found it to be a beautiful and challenging course. The course staff was friendly. It doesn't feel like an Arizona course because of the many pine trees, but that doesn't matter much to us.

This is not a great course but there is some really good scenery. Pace of play was very slow. We were looking for a warm up course before playing much nicer courses in the area. We booked a 1:53 ttime and it was 2:20 before we teed off. Nine holes took 2 and a half hours. We decided not to play any more holes even though we paid for 18. There was no beverage carts. I don’t think I’ll be back.
