The course was playing excellently, especially in the light of the recent wet and poor weather. The greens and tee boxes were well maintained, and the greens quite fast.
Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 restrictions, the club house facilities were very limited, and of course the restaurant was closed.
However, we had a very pleasant round on a very sunny, if somewhat windy day. (and I did not lose any balls on the "island" hole, actually hitting par for the first time - result !)

I always enjoy playing this course, as it is an open links course. It was a windy day so a little more challenging. We sped round, without any hold ups or slow play. Some of the greens were a little disappointing, with bare patches, and bumps. We visited whilst the course was emerging from lockdown, so the facilities and amenities were limited, but this was to be expected. Will definitely play the course again in the near future, especially at such a great rate.

This is a pretty interesting course that is not too challenging (apart from the 8th hole on an island !). Its a links style course so nice and open with minimal trees, although the deep rough will still catch you out. Good club house facilities and food,.

This is a well maintained course, with fast greens. There are no great vistas to admire, and there is the constant noise of the A12 in the background. It is a long walk, especially after the18th back to the clubhouse. However there is an interesting variety of holes, with several with challenging hazards of water and bunkers. Worth playing on the odd occasion to sharpen up your game.

Very good course, but too many challenging bunkers. Great course to practise your tee shot placement. Only gripe was that there were too many inexperienced (0parents with their kids) in fours and fives that hold you up, and do not invite you to play through. However, will play the course again until I have mastered it !
