Clear Creek Golf Course
Played On 10/15/2015Awesome value
Always a good bang for the buck course. The green were rolling fine, you can tell they were aerated a few weeks back, but it was totally fine. If you don't play from the back tees, you really only need to hit driver a handful of times, you really have to use course management here. Ground was hard as a rock, so you are going to get a good roll out on hour drives, but it will get you in trouble if it kicks forward into the rough. Once its in the rough, you're dead, you can't hit out of the high stuff, that is if you are lucky to find it. One approach shot, we saw exactly where it landed and we still couldn't find it. I would definitely come back and recommend this place for $15.
Greatwood Golf Club
Played On 10/01/2015Greens were not rolling
Over all the course was in good condition. The tee boxes were spotty in on a few, but the greens were probably aerated a few weeks ago and were very sandy. Putts were simply not rolling. The bunkers did not have much sand in them either, probably because all the sand was on the greens!! :)
Played on a Golfnow Hot Deal, so it was a good price of $24 bucks. The back 9 is much more challenging than the front with lots of carry, and water in play.
El Dorado at Quail Valley Golf Course
Played On 08/28/2015Tough back 9
The back 9 is much more difficult than the front. Back 9 reminds me somewhat of the Wildcat Lakes course. Fairways & tee boxes were in good shape, but we were a little disappointed with the greens: they had a good amount of weeds on it, preventing you from getting a "true" roll.

Random thoughts:
- This is a course for the locals.
- Lots of walkers, so if you plan on riding, you will most likely still get paired with someone walking.
- A few tight fairways, overall nice course.
Unfortunately I was paired up with a couple riding, and a guy walking that both decided to only play 9 holes. So on my back 9, I was stuck between a foursome ahead and a foursome behind me. Both group had some riding, some walking. And there were groups ahead of them. So really I had nowhere to go. Sadly neither grouped preferred I join with them making a 5 some. So I was on the the group ahead of me and the group behind me was on me. I oddly did not not understand why they did not want me to join? I guess teeing off 5 and putting out 5 is annoying I suppose, and it was only for 9 holes.
Canterbury Woods Country Club
Played On 08/08/2015Awesome course with excellent views
Found a hot deal on Golf now and was not disappointed. This course has a lot of elevation, you are rarely hitting off of a flat lie. Has a lot of nice view of the mountains. We are not talking Pebble Beach, but very nice for the area. I would definitely recommend or would play here again if I am ever in the area.
Frisco Lakes Golf Club
Played On 08/11/2014Excellent views
Played as a single on a work trip. Fairways were in excellent condition. The greens were coming back from being aerated probably a few weeks ago, but still provided a true roll. Some of the wholes had really nice views. Excellent course for the money ($30). Would definitely recommend and also play again.

Fairways & greens were in excellent condition for this time of year. Excellent value with spectacular views, as a bonus you get to encounter some wildlife (road runners, lizards, bunnies, etc). Would definitely recommend and play again.
Riverfront Golf Club
Played On 8/24/2013Excellent value for the scenary
An excellent challenging course especially playing from the tips, which changes everything. Excellent views of the James River. Would definitely play this course again when I am in town. $7 for a small bucket of range balls is a tad stiff though.
Sienna Plantation Golf Club
Played On 8/21/2013Excellent course for the money.
Nice views, a few holes is target golf, and a few holes is links style. You have to think on this course with several places to either go for it, or to lay up.
Eagle Pointe Golf Club
Played On 5/27/2013Excellent value if you can get a deal and do not mind the drive out.
Excellent course with pristine fairways and greens. It is a little bit of a trek out west for me, but it was clearly worth it. No busy roads, no neighborhood distractions, etc. Find a good deal and make the drive out.
Gateway National Golf Links
Played On 3/23/2013Fun course, with mediocre views of the Arch.
It was a little loud with the racing going on next door, but had a great time nonetheless. The course was a little bare, but it is still very early in the season in Missouri, and the city literally had 10 inches of snow the very next day.
Pearland Golf Club
Played On 3/13/2013A great "Players Course" that is a true value.
The course is not particularly long, but a great "Players Course" that is super cheap on the weekdays, and fairly inexpensive on the weekends as well. The greens were a little dry on my recent visit and the fairways were a little on the bumpy side.
