Awesome day at Widgi Creek

OMG, Monday was such a great day at Widgi. The weather was great, Low 50's. The course was dry and the fairways were amazing. The greens were slightly slower than I thought they would be, but overall, it was outstanding. There were some tough holes, especially number 13. It's a risk/reward hole. Over the top of the trees on the left corner and you are set, miss right, especially if you hit long, and par is impossible. Looking forward to playing it again.

Winter Round

This is the best winter course in the state. It has the best drainage and the greens are still pretty fast. The great thing about this course is that despite the amount of cold and rain we've had, not one ball plugged on or off the fairway.
Definitely a must play.

Nice Country Style Course

The wide open front nine provides some error of the tee box. The back nine is tree lined and much tighter. The over all course was still in pretty good shape despite the first day of rain.

Fun and Challenging Course

Great course. I always enjoy playing Mountain View. The key to this course is to stay in the fairway. With the amount of trees, you can get into trouble in a hurry that can cost you 2-3 strokes at least. Though the hardest hole on the course, #12 is by far the funnest hole.
