Wasn't aware of the 'regulars club' that golfs on Friday's until after I started. The 2 guys in front of us could barely make it off the greens and stopped to look at the fish in the pond, knowing we were RIGHT behind them, i.e. purposely playing slow. Even asked if we were 'having fun' in a snarky way. As if waiting behind 2 much older guys than myself and my son was fun when it's 110 out. I play A LOT around the east valley, and understand the demographics of the population age, but c'mon...let guys play through or at least try to pick up the pace. Gave it 2 tries, despite the $, our 4some won't be back.

My son and I got there for my tee time at 745am and went into the bar area and asked for a cooler that can brought on the cart...was told by lady that it was a 3 drink minimum?! All I wanted was ice for my cool-towel to keep wet and waters I had brought on my own for my son and I. It's ARIZONA in JULY...seriously!! I can't get ice without spending $15 on 3 drinks I don't want.
Aside from that, which I've never been told before at any of the 10 courses in the east Valley that we frequent year round...we really enjoyed the layout and our round of golf.
