Heron Creek Golf and Country Club - Oaks/Marsh Course

The corse condition was good. No way a 4.5 rating ! The greens are slow, no GPS many blind shots ! Most shots into green are blind ! You rarely will get a view of green on approach shots.

Don’t be fooled by the 5 star reviews ! The course opened 2 months ago and for a new course the condition is pretty good. No pro shop ( traler ) no refreshments. It is very poorly designed ! Not a course I would ever want to play regularly!
10 & 19 at University Park Country Club

University has always been one of the best maintained and favorite coutures in the area ! I have played ther well over 100 X. I played there 7/28/23. The conditions were something I have never seen at this course. Even during the summer months of excessive heat, the course has always been green and pristine ! The course is in deplorable condition ! Every fairway was total burned out not just in isolated spots but in entirety even the area that had green grass I was very sparse and lacked density.

This course is grossly overrated! Rack rate in season is $114. No GPS, conditions were not great, not in bad condition but for the money you would expect much better! Conditions were not what you would expect from what based on the price is a high end club. Esplanade ( Azario ) and University Park are much better choices!

The course was in good condition. The greens were aerated a few weeks ago and have not fully repaired yet. I was disappointed with the speed of the greens a bit slower than I anticipated and were a bit burned out

I would not play this course again if it was free! The conditions were the worst I have ever played. The only positive is it is a decent layout. The tee boxes were horrible, the fairway and greens had weeds and greens were very slow, bunker had rocks , weeds and little sand.

I don’t understand how anyone could give a favorable review at this course! The playing conditions are the worst I have ever experienced. The tee boxes are terrible, fairways loaded with crab grass, every bunker has grass growing inside and are loaded with rocks. The greens are very slow.
The only thing positive is the layout, not a lot of opportunities to lose golf balls, but conditions are deplorable!
