Best course in central Florida

There are a lot of golf courses in central Florida. For that matter there are a lot of great golf courses in Florida, but this course is above the rest. Challenging, fun, and some very unique holes. Great conditions.

Fun layout for a good day of golf

This course is great for a fun, but not too challenging round. The fairways are always in good condition and the greens run true. There are a lot of dog legs, so placement is important. The Par three's are reachable and good opportunity grab a few birdies.

This course is a good value for the money, especially during the busy season where courses jack the price up for the northerners.

PGA Tour Style Course

This course is by far the BEST course in Central Florida. Absolutely worth the price (and it's still cheaper then the well known courses that you might have heard of and willing to pay over $60 for)
The greens run true and fast. The course is set up for all different styles of play. I have played all the big courses in central Florida that clam to be the best and charge an arm and a leg to play, but this course sits quietly in Lake Mary, charges a fair amount and blows those other course out of the water.

Bring a good amount of golf balls

This course is pretty far out there, but one of the toughest courses you'll play in central FL. If it's your first time, I recommend you get a yardage book as there is a lot of hazards that come into play on each hole during the round. Putting the ball in the right place is key. If you are working on fixing your slice of hook, best to leave this course off your list until you've fixed it as it will eat those shots alive.

The course is in pretty good shape. The first couple of greens had some rough spots, but after hole 4, they got better.

The price can be a little high. They were charging $35 in the dead of summer, when there are other courses in much better shape charging less. In July, they should really be at $26-30 tops since some of the greens and fairways were not pristine.

All in all, a good course to test your ball striking and placement of shots.

Favorite course in central Florida

This is one of the nicest and well kept courses in Central FL. From the moment you start, to the beer after the round you will really enjoy this course.

They keep the green fees at a reasonable price (which is an amazing thing in Central Fl) and the course in great shape.

Course layout is fantastic, with its rolling fairways and tight greens.

Up hills and blind tee shots will keep you on your toes.

This course can be a very fun track to play. There are some challenging holes along with some straight forward take a shot and make birdy. The biggest draw back is Pace of Play. No marshal to tell the slow group to pick up play. if you hit it at the wrong time, you can be starring at a 5+ hour round. Besides that, the greens are nice and it's a fun course to play.

needs a little help

A pretty fun layout and open..and the greens were in good condition. But the fairways are not in good shape, very spotty. They could also stand to send a Marshall around every once in a while to speed up the foursome of ladies that were a whole and a half behind the group in front of them, holding up three groups behind them in the process.

Long and challenging

This is a great course to play if you want to give yourself a challenge because it can play really long. But a great track overall if you tee it forward. They have it in good condition and the greens are rolling true.

The greens are good.

This course played a little slow on a Friday morning. If they got their fairways in better shape it would be then they were when we played, it would make it an above average course. The greens were really nice and rolled true.

Staff and starter were friendly.

Great course to test your shot making

Celebration is a placement course. Not overly long, but challenging. Always in good condition year long. Food, staff and facility are great. A little pricy during the winter, but definitely a course to play if in the Orlando area.

Good track, fast greens.

Played the course for $30 thanks to GolfNow. Their normal green fee is $75, which I think is pretty high for this course. But, It's a good track with fun holes and fast greens that rolled true.
