Only thing I would change is length of par 5’s from the white tees. I’m 75 with an average drive of maybe 190-200, anything over 500 yards is a very tough hole. I don’t mind the challenge, but I better be chipping and putting well that day.

Greens were rough in spots and sand traps needed sand. Fairways and tee boxes were pretty good.

Course was in great shape. Pace of play after a frost delay was good. Greens were true, but you don't want to be above the hole:)

greens had no texture They were very smooth but because of their slope they did not take any break and if you were putting uphill it may roll back to you. I really thought some of the greens were unfair and you couldn't hit to the greens...

Sand traps much improved. Greens have some issues, dead spots and many were bumpy, some were really nice. Many tee boxes were in need of water to soften them Overall the course was very playable for the price.

only issue, but not just here in Phoenix area, no sand added to traps, still recovering from covid Hopefully all courses will start to upgrade traps. Other than that, course was in great shape.

The fairway grass was longer than the rough and the greens must have been about a 13 with severe slope.

the only shortcoming is the amount of sand in the traps, but that's on me for hitting into the trap.

Played On 02/14/2017Aesthetics were poor (dead trees) a lot of dirt (not desert) for my image of a Country Club. I didn't find the staff helpful as a first time visitor. I paid fees and was told where first tee was and they would call our name. Finished round at 4:00pm and went in to grill for something to eat, but the grill was closed.
