Purgatory Golf Club

If you fear bunkers, traps, and fescue this is not for you. The layout is great and very challenging. The course condition was a little lacking, tee to green there were some areas that needed love. The par threes were a very nice mix of yardage and design. Many of the holes offer a very links style feel. On the backnine a member drove around us and teed off on the next hole, we then had to wait on him thru the entire backnine. All in all, I found Purgatory very enjoyable.

A nice layout. Accuracy is rewarded. Adequate room off the tee. Ample greens well guarded with smart bunkering.

A great layout. This course will dirty all of your clubs. A great mix of long and short holes with a collection of excellent par three's. The staff is friendly and the lunch buffet was fantastic.

I imagine that years ago it was a nice place. However everything about this place is dated. The buildings and clubhouse are "aged" and are in serious need of renovation. The same can be said for the course. The entire course needs some love. The cartpaths are potholed. There is a ridiculously trecherous bridge near the clubhouse. But my biggest complaint was the pace of play and total lack of marshalls or course management. Over 5 hrs to play removed any enjoyment we might have found here.
Plum Creek Golf Club
Played On 08/16/2016Linksy
We played the course after heavy rains the day before. It was "cart path only" so it was hard to really enjoy the course. I liked the layout and I think under normal conditions the course would play as a links design. It was so wet when we played that every shot was ALL carry. The greens were ample and had multiple tiers with suttle movements. All in all we enjoyed our day.

A fine blend of holes. Very nice collection of par 3's. We stayed at the Resort and played 3 days of golf. Great facility. Very good lunch and dinner menu. All around nice experience.

A nice mix of holes. Nothing too difficult. Average size greens protected well by bunkers and water. We enjoyed a very nice lunch after our round. Excellent food and a very friendly wait staff.
Broken Arrow Golf Club - South/East
Played On 07/24/2015Double pins…why???
We played the North and the East courses. A very strange feature of this course is the double pins on each green. This made gps ineffective, not to mention a nuisance to figure yardages. The design was enjoyable. Conditions were satisfactory. The pace of play was slow. Course workers wielding weed-eaters were an annoyance. They seemed to be oblivious that we were playing thru the distraction. As much as I enjoyed the East course, I didn't enjoy the North.
Broken Arrow Golf Club - South/East
Played On 07/24/2015A nice layout with good design.
A nice design. Moderately difficult. The rough was brutal, very lush, hard to advance the ball from some lies. The greens were a little slow but consistent. I enjoyed the East course.
Hi dukhux18,
Thank you for the review! We are so glad you loved the east course and thought it was a nice design.
We hope to see you back soon!
Thank you,
Broken Arrow Management
Thanks for your feedback. As we approach budget season your comments will be used to try to address some of the mentioned. The economy really hit us hard as play numbers and revenue took a hit which translated to a smaller staff and reduced funding for supplies. All of what you mentioned and much more has been proposed at budget time for the last several years but are removed to make the numbers work.
