Pendleton Hills Golf Course
Played On 05/15/2015Pristine Conditions
I haven't played a course in the Tri-State area that isn't has well maintained as this course. Greens were consistently ball-mark free, smooth and quick. Well worth the trip and the money.
Sugar Ridge Golf Club
Played On 5/15/2013It's Back !
After several maintenance projects, Sugar Ridge is, once again, one of the hidden gems of the Tri-State area. The greens were consistent in speed and smooth. The fairways have filled nicely after a complete makeover.
Lassing Pointe Golf Course
Played On 5/14/2013Still needs major work
When I first played this course fifteen years ago, I was amazed at its potential to be a truly magnificent course. Nothing much has changed; it still has the potential to be a first-rate track. The bunkers are virtually unplayable. When wet, the rough is unmanageable, especially in the lower areas where drainage is big problem. The green fringe(s) have been repaired, after a fungus reduced them to hardpans. In all, I only play this when golfnow.com can provide a decent rate. It simply isn't worth the price given the lack of course maintenance.
