Lost Creek Golf Club
Played On 06/18/2015Great Place to Play
Lost Creek is a great place to play. The staff is very friendly and seem to really appreciate your business. The course is relatively short, but trouble lurks around every corner. The more you play it, the better your course management will get. The greens roll true, but are a bit slower than what I'm used to. All in all, a great value!
Gunter's Landing Golf Club
Played On 03/31/2015Beautiful Views!
Beautiful golf course, with views of the lake from many places. Many elevation changes throughout. Course can be visually intimidating in places, but an overall fair test of golf. There are a few forced carries. If you are in the Guntersville area, give this course a try. You won't be disappointed!
McLemore Club - Highlands Course
Played On 03/29/2015Breathtaking Views
The scenic beauty of this course is amazing! The course itself is visually intimidating, but playable. Many of your drives from the elevated tees seem to hang in the air forever. The greens had been recently aerated and were a tad slow. The fairways hadn't yet greened up, but we didn't mind. I will definitely make a return trip to play Canyon Ridge again!
Red/White at Lambert Acres Golf Club
Played On 06/13/2014Great Golf And Value
Lambert Acres is one of my favorites in the Knoxville area. The fairways were in great shape and the greens were medium fast and rolled true. There is a variety of holes, from short par 4's to long par threes. The staff is always accommodating and appreciative of your business. For the money, you can't beat it. If you are in the area, go play Lambert Acres.
Bent Creek Golf Course
Played On 06/12/2014Wild Ride
Front nine is fairly open, straightforward golf. The creek comes into play on virtually every hole. The back nine is the opposite, Numerous blind shots make local knowledge important. The greens were good, but the fairways and cart paths could use some attention. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We used a Hot Deal and played for $30. I probably wouldn't play it if I had to pay full price.
White/Blue at Dandridge Golf & Country Club
Played On 06/11/2014Best In The Smokies
Dandridge Golf Club is one of the best courses in the Smokies. It is always in great shape and very fun to play. Rain ran us off the course at the turn for about 15 minutes, but we still completed the round in 4 hours. It was an enjoyable round on an excellent course.
CrossWinds Golf Course
Played On 06/06/2014Interesting Course
The course is suffering from a very harsh winter. Fairways are bare in places from winter kill. Greens were good and rolled true. Course required you to use all the clubs in your bag. Plenty of sand and water to deal with throughout. It would have helped to have played with someone familiar with the course, because of a few blind shots. Overall, an enjoyable day.
