I last played this course about 1 yr. ago. Since then the course maintenance has been bad. Fallen trees don't get cleaned up. Ball washers are worthless. Water jugs/coolers that used to be throughout the course are empty. It was a nice 78 degree cloudless day with no drinking water and no Cart Person(s).

I liked the large green areas and plenty of fairways space. Due to the rains in San Diego the last few weeks the rough areas were hard to hits out of.

Back 9 was closed due to maintenance and no one told me this before I made my NON REFUNDABLE reservations. Front 9 greens were being aeriated and the greens were full of sand. Putting was a JOKE.

If I could have gotten a refund I would have went somewhere else to play but I was stuck.

Looks like they are selling top soil from the area around holes 11 - 14 on Ivanhoe, which runs right up to the fairways and even takes out some of the fairway on hole 12. They have a large hole and are removing soil down to about 30 - 40 feet. Not sure when they will fill it back in.

Greens were in execellent condition. Fairways were is realy good condition even though we have has several days of frost that has hurt the grass. Pace of play was also great, We waited about 2 min. on the first 3 tees after that we went fast.

Course was is great shape but two of the greens were really bad (fungus damage I think over 50% of green) and two other greens had minor damage, about 10%.

trying to fill out the rating scale is difficult. YOu should have a "button" selection process and the scale should have 5 choices.
