The Norman at PGA West is fun and challenging, don’t let FWY height throughout fool you! Good stand of grass, Bermuda in well on greens, good bunkers too!

Greens speed average but very consistent and fun to play!

SO this facility could be something awesome, however they are also home to a sister/brother course and the largest Wyndham in the world as they say....unfortunately now to get to the golf you have to navigate through their "system" as they call it, they are naive and silly to think it isn't clear they are lost, understaffed and under trained to operate the "system". They make you show your receipt several times, (ok), they will not let you have a cart until tee time and the range is far away! they have a shuttle that is understaffed and cant keep up so pairing and cart placement is late from the get go! As a plus they make you shuffle your own bags (not a problem but their system doesn't tell you where to do so) onto carts with no keys, wrong scorecards, no pencil or Ice that is in between two other carts with no keys so to get yours out you need to move 3 carts! oh ya with one key!

once you get to the course it is nice shape, however 4 carts and 8 somes are rare, but no player assistant or marshall all day so that sucked!

and lastly no body around when you finish until your bags are already in the trunk and they show up looking for a tip .... I always leave 5$ on the steering wheel but i can tell you most everyone I spoke to was turned off by this SYSTEM.

PS - TERRA LAGO if you need help running this, it could work but changed need to made in manpower and attitude!!

So this place has stepped up their game big time! The defense for the course is the small greens. The draw is the fun and enjoyable culture they are creating. From the crusty old guys (who I appreciate) to the young whippersnappers that think they are gods gift to golf, they all fall in to the heading "happy to be there" and that makes the place real fun! Now the game is over and you like Rock n Roll? cocktails? food? then they have you covered there too! This Idea is going to catch fire!
