You can tell there was once a golf course here and it was probably quite nice. There's some resemblance of where the fairways used to be and depressions where you could envision sand traps years ago. It's hard to tell when they stopped maintaining it; 1 or 2 decades ago if I had to guess. When you see the golf carts you won't believe they run. I'm not sure why this hasn't been converted to a camp ground yet. This course doesn't belong on GolfNow and damages the brand. I'm sure the locals know what they're getting into but GolfNow users who like to explore shouldn't be exposed to this disaster. I wouldn't play it again for $0. It's that bad. I gave the staff a 5 star but don't take that literally. I didn't encounter any staff except the 1 person working the pro shop, or whatever you'd label the building she was in. Pace of play would have been great since there was no one on the course but you'll be slowed down looking for your ball on the "fairway" every hole.

"18 signature holes" is how I describe this course to my friends. I play here every visit to the desert and it's never short of 10 out of 10. Stunning course.

Very well maintained and excellent shape, especially the greens. Staff were particularly pleasant especially the club drop guy. Good dude.

This course has so much potential. The layout is wonderful, greens were excellent and every hole is surrounded by beautiful scenery. My only negative comment would be the condition of the fairways. Being from Canada I don't understand how water rights work in drought stricken California but I can see this course isn't getting its fair share (by choice or not I have no idea). If they watered and cut more this would be a stellar course. I hope they work on it. It's still worth your time and money in spite of the fairways. I will try it again next visit.

Beautiful and challenging course that is well designed and maintained. Top notch facilities.

At one point our cart broke down and I couldn't get the clubhouse to answer the phone (after 8 attempts). I finally got someone in the restaurant to answer. This won't prevent me from golfing here again next time I'm in town and it shouldn't prevent you from visiting either. I just want their management to know what happens after they go home.

this course isn't as good as people are rating it. It's a 50 dollar course so don't pay more. Mix of good enough holes and some really dumb ones. Short, thin and lacking par 5's. Average shape, average greens, some of which are too small. Clubhouse is really old and outdated. Don't get me wrong, if you just want to play 18 holes on a course with palm trees when there's 3 feet of snow where you live, this is good enough. Just don't go in with high expectations from playing all the wonderful courses in the area.
