Most reviews seem to be 5 and 4 stars, cannot see that at all . The layout was fine but nothing special. There was no wonderful hole(s) just all average. The greens had just been aerated so cannot comment on them .
To summerize, if close by , give it a try but I would not go out of your way to play it .
Pace of play ( played as threesome walking ) 1:35 front 2:25 back , no sign of a marshall .

Rain for first 7 holes which did not help as course was already damp. The rough was US Open nasty ( I assume from weather ) but nice layout and good shape other then extreme rough

Perfectly fine experience

Very well run facility. Very nice shape, especially for the time of year. Fine layout but a little too open for "high " drama but certainly good enough, dare I say it, the average golfer.If I'm back in the area will give it another try.

Nice enough but doesn't stir the blood

Well organized course and overall it was in very good condition. Did not find great variety in the holes and few got you really thinking. Could not walk, as is usual , so probably not going back.

Watch out !

Had played here before ( 18 years ago ) so knew it was tight. First nine fine , managed my way around but then the tighter and tougher back nine grapped me. I moved up to the shorter tees the last five holes to save my self respect. I recommend it as a great test but careful !!

Well, the greens were nice.

And the fellow in the pro shop was friendly. The layout is mainly pedestrian with a few nice holes on back. For the most part wide open so nice change from the OBX layouts. Not really memorable in any way

Perfectly Fine But......

Have played course several times. Front nine very old , back quite new . Front has it's charms, back not so much. Back longish with lots of blind shots, hazards. not my cup of tea. Course was a bit scruffy, weather has been very wet, but that's my sense. The day we played the members were playing in sixsomes ? Just what we need to help pace of play !

Fun to Play !

50 miles from where I live but I wish I played it more often. Nice shape, great variety of holes and just enough challenge ( without beating you up, unless you deserve it) highly recommend but bring bug spray.
