I invited a friend from Bergen County and she was very impressed with the course and the conditions it was in. She is looking forward to playing this course again in the near future.
Pace of play was great and she even commented about how fast it felt we played. She indicated that this was just another indication of what a great day of golf we had.

Ground crews were watering many parts of the courses. Tee boxes and greens were in excellent condition. Some of the fairways were a bit dry and others were being watered. Considering the lack rain the area has had I think the courses were in better condition than most would usually be. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beverage Cart visits were frequent and cart girl was very friendly too. Overall a great day on a great course.

Played with a friend today and even though we got off to a delayed start and a slow pace, for 9 holes, due to elderly players ahead of us. Course was in great shape and carts were allowed on all but 3 holes due to soggy conditions. With all of the rain we've been having, I think that was pretty good.

My friend and I played this course for the first time yesterday. We were met by 2 very friendly staff members and were quickly made to feel comfortable and aware of some of the clubs attributes and specials - especially for women. They were running ahead of schedule and the club had moved the 2 men, scheduled to play with us, up to the group ahead of us. The starter explained a variety of holes to us and gave us tips on how to play them. Play moved very well and the foursome ahead of us let the two of us move ahead of them, so we did not have to wait for them. Finished in under 4 hours.
The course was in great shape, except that some of the greens had weed spots, played relatively fast and thwarted our putting attempts. It may have been our inexperience with the course, but it became somewhat frustrating as we found our balls passing many holes by less than an inch and sometimes it felt as if the holes were designed to divert balls away from them, even for tap-ins.
Overall, we would like to come back to play again and meet the challenge of the vertical fairways and conquer the greens.

Had a great day of golf here. Very challenging, especially the 4th hole, but that’s what I look for when golfing. Course was in great shape and staff was friendly and helpful. The only downer, was that we didn't see a snack cart until the afternoon, but there was a conveniently located snack bar on the course. I am looking forward to playing here again soon.

This was the first time I have played this course after it’s major renovation. The first obstacle my playing partner and I encountered was that our (different manufacturers) golfing GPS systems were not reporting accurate information. Hers kept saying it was on Hole 4 for many of the holes, no matter which hole we were on and mine registered different hole numbers and incorrect distances to the holes. We’re going to have to see if we need to update our systems to get the correct distances for the new layout.

The course was in good condition except for the fact that every green was very sandy. Every ball that landed on a green would be covered in sand and when they rolled there would be a band of sand on the part of the ball that touched the ground. The sandy conditions led to sandy clubs, balls, gloves, hands and towels. It did drizzle a little while we were playing so that may have made the situation worse, but we encountered this problem even before it began raining .

Hopefully these issues will be worked out and my next visit will let me recommend the course to others.
