Played On 07/09/2020Excellent course to sharpen any players game
Desert Willow is my favorite course. You can pull out your driver on several holes. Most players need to work with their irons and this is just the place. The greens have great gain and you can really learn yo read greens and undulations. The sand is always kept in a good condition. Desert Willow deserves all the great ratings it receives.

I LOVE Desert Willow........it provides an immense array of terrain to sharpen all aspects of play. S8mply put the course is excellent for all players. It also has a chipping hole and a great putting area. The driving range accommodates a large number of players. This range allows any clubs, some ranges say NO DRIVERS...not here.

Too many golfers think that driving the ball long is the greatest thing......most of you score is based from your second shot on each hole and on from there. People need to work on their irons, wedges and putting.....The go to the DRIVING RANGE, which actually should be called a PRACTICE RANGE. Maybe then more would work their irons and wedges. Also repair ball marks on greens, they are not divots, they are ball marks.......DIVOTS ARE IN THE FAIRWAY...fix and repair them also. Desert Willow is a well run course, from the maintenance to the clubhouse....the entire staff and management take pride in their course, and it shows.

I am 65 years old and have learned too many golfers love to hit the big stick...that is not where you need to work your game. Getting on the course and working your short, mid irons and putting will get you the best results......this course is my favorite for just that... I really enjoy Desert Willow, thank you !!!!!

I love Desert Willow. Great layout and it challenges your iron skills....too many players feel the need to keep DRIVING for distance. The game is won and lost with your short play, practice that more and your score will reflect it.

I love playing Desert Willow. The par 3 and 4s have great terrain and the layout presents good challenges for any level of golfing experience
