Black Mesa Golf Club
Played On 05/22/2014Very interesting desert golf
Dusty dirt road entry. Dusty dirt cart paths. 10-25 mph winds made it even dustier and more challenging. Landing spots small esp for big hitters. Cart GPS excellent to help keep you safe if you can hit what it helps you figure out. Amazing success carving this beautiful course into the rocks, hills, gullies, gulches, ravines, and sand. Difficult (esp for bad knees and hips) hill walks to/from nearly every green. All in all a great find thanks to golfnow.com.
Santa Fe Country Club
Played On 05/20/2014Worth playing, repeatedly.
Great course in great shape. I am a first time visitor to NM. This was my first round of golf here (Santa Fe). I enjoyed it so much, I may just continue going there for my 2 weeks. I have some new clubs I need to try out, so I need to hit multiple shots with different clubs frequently. You couldn't expect to do this at most courses, but it was no problem here. The staff and members were very friendly and helpful. I am staying in downtown SF, and the course is near the airport. A 15 minute drive is a plus also. I don't know what more you could ask for.
Wildcat Crossing Golf Club
Played On 02/06/2014below quality of many nearby courses.
Start was 30 min later than t time, which, with slow pace of play, meant we were unable to finish before dark. Poor/lack of course pace contol. Greens were the worse I played in ft myers area.
Rarity Bay Golf & Country Club
Played On 11/11/2013Outstanding. Ready again, anytime.
November meant brown fairways, but they were excellent quality and playable. Greens were to my liking. A little slower than what I play regularly, but I like that, and they were perfect and true rolling. The 4 of us agreed it was VERY enjoyable all round.
