Day out with son.

Bought a hot deal that gave me 18 holes, green fees, and a cart. Perfect price. Was really looking forward to playing with 7 yr. old son. When I was checking in at the pro shop, they said I was paired with someone and needed to pay for the cart to let my son ride. This was frustrating and dissapointing. Nowhere in the description online did it say I would be paired with someone or that I was buying half a cart! I paid for the extra cart because I didn't want to forfeit the money I had already prepaid through Golfnow. Very slow play, no Marshall keeping tabs on speed of play. Nice views of lake. Bad customer service.

Hi atx73, We apologize that you had a poor experience, and that there was not enough information to make you aware of our course policies on GolfNow. During busy times, we are unable to allow riders without a fee, and try to pair groups of golfers to help improve the pace of play for everyone on the course. In any case, we would like to remedy this occurrence in the hopes that you will reconsider coming back to the course. Someone from the course will be reaching out to you, but if you have any other concerns before then, you may contact our PGA/GM at mcote@lago-vista.org. We love that you want to get your son into golf, and his age is the perfect time to start! We have a great program running at both our Highland Lakes and Lago Vista Golf Courses. After 3:00 PM every day of the week, children play (and ride) for free with paid adult green and cart fees. There is nothing more we would want, than for him growing up playing our courses. We hope that after your check in you both enjoyed your round, and that this will not deter you from coming back for your round on us.
