This really is one of the top public courses in the region. I played blue tees and foundva challenging course with sudfficient risk-reward. Course was is excellent shape. Clubhouse staff was super friendly.
Special thanks to the cart lady....she hustled and checked on us 4 or 5 times. Much appreciated onna hot/Humid day

Caught up with a buddy over a round here. We both had a blast. Well manicured fairways and greens...rough was pleasant....bunkers well kept. Truly a gorgeous and enjoyable track. Ill be back!

First time playing Blue Ridge Shadows Golf club.....but it wont be the last. Challenging layout...altitude changes...beautiful views. Staff was super fruendly.

Old Trail Golf Club

I LOVE this course! Challenging, but also allowed for risk reward for big hitters.
I drove pin high on a par 4, 270 yard hole.
Even with an OB penalty scored a 5, on a par 5. The second approach was out of the rough at 185 yards.....5 iron....barely cleared the bunker and ended up pin high. Sunk the putt. Would have been an eagle (never had one before), but +2 strokes for shanking it on 1st approach shot.....grrr
Golfed with a Vietnam era Marine and his son. Felt like I met an old friend. Reminded me that I was fortunate to golf with my dad last month. Truly a gift. Not everyone gets to share that.
