Boone Golf Club
Played On 04/11/2015Prestine course with slow pace
This course was in awesome shape. As per usual in the mountains, wind was a factor in addition to the fast greens. Some bunkers were still covered for some odd reason. The pace was agonizingly slow. Pace picked up on back 9 but still took 5+ hours to play. But again, the course was in great shape and the pre-paid deal we got was totally worth it.
Rock Barn Golf and Spa - Jackson Course
Played On 08/15/2014Best Course I've ever played
There is no question as to why the PGA chooses to host a Senior Tour event here. The greens are immaculate and there is not a blade of grass out of place. The course demands every club in the bag and precise placement of your tee shots to set up multiple shots over water. Do not leave any shot or putt short.
Rocky River Golf Club at Concord
Played On 07/07/2014Great course but needs a few touchups
Course was in absolute great shape. However, I think a slight absence of rain was hindering the greens so bad because every green was hard and very fast. Other than having to plan shots to land short of the hole and roll 10 yards to the pin, the course was wonderful and great layout. Difficult to score well, but easy to hit quality shots.

Good value for the money to really go out and work on your game. Won't challenge you with distance but will test your accuracy with small greens.
Willow Creek Golf Course
Played On 05/06/2014Best Par 3 Course I've played
I've played a fair amount of par 3 courses but none as fun as this. The holes are perfect length for wedges through 6 irons. Holes are challenging yet very accessible. Water is in play on a few holes. Greens were perfect and rolled true. Tee boxes were not cut low but didn't effect the ball of the tee. Staff was friendly and I would play this course again.
