It’s early in the season, so the ground was hard and the tee boxes were bare. But, the course was fun, hilly and challenging.

A well maintained course. A tad shorter than newer courses. But, challenging greens makes it tougher.

The course had a strange couple of holes. Hard to know where to place your drives and when the group ahead was clear. Dry and weeds on tee box due to hot summer. Challenging layout. A tad disappointed for the price.

Gopher Hills Golf Course - Executive Nine
Played On 06/26/2022Wind, fescue, doglegs and hills.
When they say hills they mean it. It feels like your always hitting uphill. If you play on a windy day bring extra golf balls. Some very strange hole designs. However, fast greens and decent fairways. Some easy pars and some impossible ones. Not for the beginner.

Disappointing! Three temporary greens. Ridiculous that no one mentions that at the pro shop. Other greens in bad condition. The pace of play was good... probably because regulars know not to play this 18. Carts in bad shape. The wheels continually lock up.
Bigger potholes on the path than the streets of Houston.

There is a shooting range near by. If your looking for a quiet place to play a round of golf this is not it. The constant gun shots are annoying and distracting.
