It’s a solid track. People were amazing. Bar is good. ProShop helpful. It just needs a little love and I assume that’s from water issues in the are restricting how the club can be maintained.

You will not find a golf staff more committed to providing a best in class experience that the team at Bali Hai. I played twice last week and each time was amazed at the staff and their work. Love the starter. The guy is amazing. Golf course is amazing. The views are impeccable. There are no 'gimme' holes on this course. Each hole has options from the first hole to the last. Course plays a bit longer than the yardage which I love. You can lose a ball or two with errant shots. So be prepared. BRING AN EXTRA SLEEVE.. or two..

If you are wayward off the tee, this course can be penal. Bunkers require finesse. And if you cannot control your ball hitting into the green, you will lose a ball or ten. Good iron shots into the greens rolled off on multiple holes. Ended up laying to target numbers on the back nine to get to a controlled wedge shot.
Overall, I love the track and the staff were amazing as well.

I have nothing bad to say about the course. Good 18 hole layout with enough contours and changes to consider club options in every hole. You should use your entire bag and not just bomb it away on every hole. Pace of play was an issue. Foursomes knew it was busy but did not keep the round moving. Did not see anyone monitoring to keep things going. Not a big deal but something that would have cut down on the waiting. That aside, this Hal Irwin design is a solid track for an afternoon round.

It's unfair to critique a course after the weather that this area has experienced. You could look at the fairways and greens and see that they were in rough shape but it was not because of a lack of attention. They need growing time to fill themselves out.
I'd love to see this course in May/June after it has had time to fill out.

Public courses rarely play like private tracks but White Clay exceeded my expectations. Greens were sandy from aeration (did not know before round) but beyond that, the course plays pretty tough. A fair amount of even lies, difficult to judge shots, blind/distorted shots into the green, make ball placement a premium in order to be in position to score. Tee boxes were in good condition for this time of year, post-winter. I give the crew an A+ rating. Course is UNWALKABLE!!!

Aggressive layout with multiple landing options. A lot of housing construction is affecting drainage so be prepared for a few small issues but I enjoyed the course. Staff was awesome. 19th hole was high quality as well. Will play again early fall.

Cherokee is an interesting public track. There are alot of blind shots that increase the difficulty and with the slanted fairways and raised fairways makes this a difficult course for the mid-level golfer who has not seen it previously. I should have written down all the advice given by the course staff as they had alot of pointers before the round. I should have listened. The tee boxes were in good condition and the fairways were in good shape. Greens require you to read them, every whole. You have to have and use your brain to play Cherokee and score well.

From the moment I stepped on the course, me and my gps disagreed on where I was standing. For a muni course, it was in fair shape, given the time of year but the design felt like someone just dropped a course on the side of a hill.
The greens had just been aerated, making the round worse.
Lost my interest after 10 holes...

Lake Presidential can be challenging as a golf course but it is in fair condition. The fairways were littered with divots. The course plays well and has some interesting hole locations and sightlines but given the conditions, made it a less than ideal round.

Yardage knowledge is critical here. This isnt the course for novices who are looking for laughs. It will test your game in every way.
