Course looked and played great. The greens are slow but probably because I'm used to much faster ones.

Talking about speed pace of play was really good. I guess the six hour round guys played earlier in the morning? We were in and out in 4:15!

Front and back 9 are very different. Quite possible to shoot +10/-1. It's very wet right now also many spots without grass. We played ball in hand to make it fair, not fun to hit a fairway and lay on dirt....

Condition was as good as last few years. Most positive was pace of play. Got around in 4 hours and we let a twosome through! Awesome! Keep it up!

Fairways, tees, and some rough is burnt-out but course is still beautiful. Give yourself a break and play with lie improvement. Greens were fantastic in comparison. Can't wait for this classic to get back to what it should be. They're working hard out there to fix it!

Very good condition for how dry it's been. Played the Whites, coulda stepped back but it was fun. Will play Blue next time. And there will be a next time!

Awesome layout. A bit dried out like all courses around here now. We took the advice of others and played the White Tees which was fairly easy but still fun! Green fee was too expensive but beer was fair.

Fun layout. Brown and dried out spots like all courses around here now. Nice warm up/practice area. They DO NOT take cash. +$34 FOR A SIX PACK of domestic beer!??! WTH over!?

Condition was better than most around here this year. They were out spot watering by hand.

Pace was REAL good this Monday. We did wait but we were a twosome and got around in 4 hours!

I played poorly and lost many balls but will go back. Oh, and good luck from the blue tees... You'll probably have more fun playing it forward here.

Course in okay shape but dry and bare spots. Pace of play SLOW. Price too high for conditions.

Hard grounds, big bounces, and some spots with brown or no grass.

Fairways and greens showed some hurt from the dry summer but we agreed to improve bad lies and had a great time. Really in great condition comparing to other local courses!

Course played nice at ok at price. Only complaint is that the greens were a bit rough from ball marks and actual spike marks, like olden days, around every hole.

Course is in good shape and plays nice. Unfortunately the driving range is closed Tuesday mornings. We'll definitely be back!

We took a two hour rain delay as it was coming down hard. The course handled the water fairly well but some collected in the bunkers and cups. Course (grass) played nice though.

Fairways and greens were in great condition. Greens putted slower than we're used to.

Pace of play was awesome, after the rain we played around in 3:30.

This course have many doglegs mostly favoring a left to right ball flight... probably a slicers paradise now especially with many of the trees protecting the doglegs missing!?

Only complaint would be the cart paths, don't even try to drive on them, they're all jacked up.

Course is in great shape tee to green, even the rough.

Greens are somewhat tricky as they're quick but you still have to get he ball to the hole... took a while to figure out but putted true and smooth.

Thunderstorms were lingering around so the load on the course was probably light. We played in less than 3:40!

Driving range, fairways, and greens were all soft and nice! Way better than what we have seen at lesser courses in Indiana and up north of Cinci in Ohio.... WELL WORTH IT! Will recommend and play again!

This was our first visit to Liberty Country Club. Our first impression was 'another flat open farmland course' as we arrived. The course however proved to be somewhat undulated with some strategically placed trees, and some extremely undulated and quick greens.

The fairways are very hard under the short cut somewhat dry but in nice condition bent grass. Off the fairways the rough played fair but there were grass less spots with plain dirt.

The greens were VERY challenging. Nobody in the group were able to figure them out. They are smooth and fast but it seemed the speed differed a bit from green to green?

The staff and service was great and there were a lot of workers out maintaining the course and the greens were being watered.

We'd play it again if it was not an hour away.

I really don't know what to say... It is a beautiful layout in beautiful nature, just gorgeous! Amazing what work must have gone in to planning and building it. Unfortunately the grounds are not what you would consider high quality for grass to grow as it is rock hard, and, missing grass in spots. Being so hard you will get crazy bounces in all directions on the fairways and rough. Some greens held the ball, some allowed it to skip forward, HARD. There is no indication how deep the flags are on the green. The bunkers have not been raked or groomed in a long time. Cart paths are in rough shape.

BUT!!! Go play it, I would recommend it. It is again a beautiful track and it is available at a very affordable rate. It was worth the 50 minute drive to us.

Our advice.... agree before the round to roll the ball on fairways (and possibly in the rough) it is no fun to play of rock hard dirt, same with bunkers, agree to rake and place. You'll notice most holes are downhill, even the greens are flat or even slope away from you. Plan accordingly and use less club, on most holes you'll need to land the ball short on or off the green to get it to stop where you want it. Do not be scared of the 6400+ yards blue tees, the 5700 yard whites will play very short.

Tee to green this course is average or just above. Fairways and greens are quite hard and even good shots would end up in a random positions on (or next to greens and fairways) after bouncing around. It seems they do not water it enough? Talking about water there was none on the course and we were not told this... half a bottle of Gatorade in the sun at +100 degrees is not enough. I feel all courses should have drinking water out and if not at least tell your guests as most expect it to be out there. I would play it again but not any time soon. Also a better course guide would be good as many tee shots (placement and distance) is a guess with a poor or hidden view of the landing areas.

WOW! I had not played here in a while and did not have high hopes, especially at the price we paid. This course is much improved, especially the greens, they're super smooth with a very true roll (South 9 are still a bit slower than the West 9.) Fairways were also in great condition. The only thing we could complain about is that some tee boxes had some patches with less grass and others were very hard making it hard to get your tee in the ground. We would very much play this track again!
