A car issue forced me to miss my tee time on the Valley course. So I played the short course twice, from the tips and forward tees. Challenging, beautiful elevation changes, greens pretty large yet still require a accurate tee shot for a birdie. Only reason the pace gets 4 stars is my first round it was packed. Another great RTJ Trail value!

An unplanned round while on vacation. Plenty of water to contend with. Greens consistent and little fast. Plenty of challenges, be it from the tips or forward tees. Loved it!

Recommended to me by young lady who fitted me for a new set of Callaway irons in April & was not disappointed!!! The rough, while plush, is a bit long and you'll lose a ball or two. But a great course, especially the back nine. Greens consistent, fairways allow for good roll. Save time for a post round meal at Mammy's in town.

Booked a 7am solo tee time. Was pushed back few minutes for a regular hubby & wife. Then was paired with a regular but pushed into one cart. I know as a solo player who travels and plays, I’ll get thrown in with others. But a 3 hour round in one cart with a stranger, no, that’s wrong and awkward. Aside from that, course not bad for the price. Greens consistent, some fun holes, others are challenging. Water played into a lot of holes but still not overly difficult . Just don’t show up alone expecting your own cart, even if you paid for it!

I live about 45 min away so I play here 4-5 times a year. Course is in great shape, as usual. My first time to play after turning 55 so moved up to the green tees. Since I'm not a bomber, moving up makes the course lot more manageable. Watch the hidden creek on 16, from the tee not visible. And the water on the left at 18 is closer than you think! Again, a favorite of mine, top notch course.

Third of three played during WMPO weekend. Course is set in the canyon. Stunning views. The Wicked 6 are exactly that, WICKED! Make sure to have your camera with you, especially on 16 and 18. Greens were a bit inconsistent, but still playable. Correct shop placement will payoff. Listen to the flyover previews on the GPS.

Second of three for WMPO weekend, and I'd say the best overall value. Fairways are tight, shot placement is important with hazards. Greens were in fantastic shape. Note, this is a members club that has public tee times. Often the members are a bit standoffish to the public, but not here. EVERYONE was super friendly!

First of three I played on Phoenix Open weekend. Fast greens, fantastic layout. Fairways are wide but errant tee shots are gone. Great restaurant for after round meal and drinks. Definitely watch out for the jumping cactus!

Course in great shape. Greens are fast, which I'm not use to. Beautiful layout, deer are a common sight. Played from senior tees and, for a non long ball hitter, was VERY enjoyable. Plan on returning for the other two courses at this resort.

Played on a Friday before a A&M home game so the pace was little slow. Yet everyone kept moving, no "problem" golfers who make things miserable. Course is a good challenge yet manageable for high handicappers. Bunkers everywhere but well maintained. Greens are awesome. Little fast but, again, manageable for all levels. Staff, as with all Aggies, are all friendly and accommodating. I'll be back. WHOOP!
