Love the course, but the advertised rates don't include a mandatory GPS fee of $5

Play course once a year as part of Austin' First Tee Players Book and then a couple of other times of the year because just love the course.
The course is a lovely setting using the natural terrain. Greens are fast, but true. Some interesting holes without being gimmicky.

Played On 07/26/2017Beautiful Hill Country Course
Played course with a Groupon.
The course is part of a real estate development that has not really "taken off" due to remoteness. But the owners have maintained the course in top condition. and continue to make improvements. The only negative on the course is lots of ball marks on the greens.
Great burger in the the grill.

A real gem in the Hill Country. Kingsland is kind of an out of the way place so you will not just stumble onto the course.
The course is well laid out and maintained. Visually it looks to be easy but is sneaky difficult. Fast greens, fast fairways and short rough. Enough water hazards to get your attention. Only negative on one hole is the water extends several yards toward the fairway from the red stakes and for a firs time play can get you.

Played On 06/03/2017New Name And Ownership
Had not played this course in several years. It is under new ownership and the course is now named The Golf Club of Edmond.
The new owners have made the course probably the best value in the area. Great fairways, greens and staff.

Was a member for several years before moving out of area. The course has been really improved. Fairways, greens and rough all well maintained. Club house very clean and neat.

First of all it is stunning what has happened to this area from when I knew it years ago. Used to be a grimy industrial area that is now a hip destination.
What an enjoyable course to play; great staff and course in wonderful condition. The only downside was the condition of bunkers due to recent record rains; happens to the best of them.
Players of all skill levels can enjoy playing this course.

Played On 03/25/2016Great Staff
This was bachelor party golf with three foursomes. OK on pace until the turn where everybody seemed they had to gather before proceeding to the tenth tee. Quickly were 30' behind pace. About the 14th or 15th hole a player assistant, Phil, came out and instead of reading the riot act on pace of play became our fore caddy and help with shot selection and locating balls until we finished. Thank you Phil!

Very enjoyable course to play. Greens and fairways in great condition but the bunkers are a disaster; hard to describe bunkers other than they are "crusty".

Great Hill Country course out in the middle of nowhere; not car or airplane noise. Wonderful design; well maintained and fast greens. Lots of interesting holes. Need to pay attention to the GPS on the cart for where to land your shots. Definitely will play again,
