The fairways, fringe, and greens were in good condition. We admired how green the grass was—possibly due to the rainstorm that had passed a few hours earlier. One of the best features of Hyland Hills blue course is the beautiful views of the mountains to the west. We were also blessed with a close eagle sighting.
Two other reasons HH blue is one of my favorites is that it is very “walkable” and the low cost of twilight play ($17.)

Hyland Hill’s blue course is a nice, walkable course for the money—just enough obstacles to make it challenging, yet not overwhelming. Our foursome has handicaps ranging from 13-40; we all enjoyed the round.

Talk about a great way to spend a Friday afternoon! My three female friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our nine holes on the blue course! The greens and tees were in some of the best shape ever--hardly any leaves, goose droppings, or aeration plugs! Pace of play was good. We did need to wait a few minutes on many of the holes, but we didn't mind, because that gave of some time to chat. Thanks for making Hyland's blue course our favorite in the north area!
