Turboe

Above the Mendoza line on quality, but like everything else in this area a little overpriced. But, I guess that’s what the market will bear!

Part of the Atlanta Municipal group of courses. Pretty spartan clubhouse and amenities, but this course was in decent shape compared to some of the other ATL Muni courses I have played. I would play it again if I weren't trying to play as many different courses as possible @thequestfor3000

Was visiting town so did not know the courses well.

The course was wet, and CART PATH ONLY despite there having been no rain in 24 hours! Pace of play was slow (certainly CPO contributed)

Conditions of the greens were not good, and very slow. I brought a customer for golf, and several times he said "I am missing work for this?"

As an upside the people seemed nice, and we had a decent lunch in the grill/pub.

Seems like time has passed this place by a little and it needs some TLC.

They seem to think that 5-somes are everyday occurrences. As a two some they were planning to put us with three guys without batting an eye until the group in front turned out to be a two some so they sent us when them. But the 5-some in front of us was excruciatingly slow (I think they were waiting from time to time, but they had no clue or conscience about anyone behind them). Booked this course because it was close to the airport.. Almost had to leave before 18 because we were cutting my friends flight closer than we expected.

Not the courses fault but the group in front of us parked their cart literally on the fringe of the green about half the time. But then again if the course had even one ranger out there they probably would have gotten caught so I guess it is somewhat the courses fault.

This place was like the wild wild west. Anything goes, and no law!

The course itself was decent, conditions were acceptable, and once we got on the course the pace of play was actually pretty decent. However the logistics and marshaling of the course were atrocious we arrived for our teetime to find that the course has been overbooked with some kind of tournaments. We ended up teeing off about a half an hour later than our original teetime. There were four or five groups backed up behind us in the same situation that we were.
They started sending those of us with actual teetimes off the first tee every other group as the tournament was turning off of number 18. It could have and should have been handled much better. Also it was quite confusing because some teetimes had eight minute intervals while some other teetimes only had four minute intervals between them.

Nice public track! My 2279th different golf course (@thequestfor3000) and it was worth the money!

Nice executive type course in decent condition, not many par fours, very small greens, good place to work on your short game

Lots of rain overnight meant some wet fairways and washed out bunkers early in the day. But they still let carts off the cart path, and it drained pretty quickly. By the 7th hole things had firmed up nicely. Greens rolled good, not super fast, but true. Course is above the Mendoza line for Myrtle Beach area. Nice mix of holes, a little water but not overboard like some MB area courses.
I'd play it again!

I should have done more homework. The course was much shorter than I anticipated. Not really many places to hit your driver. Water everywhere. Overall an enjoyable afternoon round, but not real forgiving.
