Nice course, parking not great

This course is in nice condition and there are some interesting holes in the layout. In all the course plays quite short and we were forced to some shorter tees due to a function at the Farmhouse. The biggest negative is the parking for golf which is a very long way away from the pro shop. They do offer you can take a cart if there are 2 of you and I suggest you take that offer. We didn’t and you can easily get lost trying to get back as the facility meanders over a huge area.

Beautiful course, good value

We've skipped playing this course on previous visits to the area as we were told it gets very windy here. We had a morning tee time on a windless day. This is a beautiful course. There is water on most holes so it is challenging but not too daunting for the average golfer. Even with overseeing planned in less than a week the course was in great condition. The grill and other amenities are top class. We'll definitely be back.

Nice Course Badly run

The course is in great condition and a nice layout. Tee times were running 20 minutes late and then it was a 5 hour round. I hoped for better on a week day but as per the other reviews I read before booking, they just fit too many groups into the time. Only recommended if you have plenty of time.

Challenging course

Some very challenging holes for intermediate players but that was to be expected of a TPC course. It didn't disappoint.

Kiwi couple

I picked this course to play based on the high rating score on GolfNow. I can only assume that others rated it highly as they played it well. The layout is boring. Every par 4 looks the same and the course is quite easy so long as you hit fairly straight. We went there hoping to eat breakfast before playing but all they had available was a takeout breakfast sandwich pre-made and kept heated. Very disappointed in this course. We would highly recommend a slightly longer drive to play Lookout Mountain for half the price.

Kierland is an easy resort course and most that review it are from out of town. For excellent (public) golf play We Ko Pa, Troon North or a little further out is Quintero. All scenic and difficult.

Nice course. Very challenging layout playing for the first time. We played with another couple and the ladies decided to play the longer gold tees. You needed a long shot to reach the fairway on a number of holes. Enjoyed our round and the bar factories afterward.

Lovely conutryside course and facility

We went to play as a couple staying in Santa Barbara and, on request were teamed up with another couple. We had a nice 4 hour round. The course was a bit tricky when you haven't played it before and our GPS in the cart wasn't working for the 1st 9 holes so we were teeing off into blind spots a lot. We booked to play there again as a 2nd round would have been even more enjoyable but sadly the weather turned bad so we had to cancel our 2nd round. We would consider staying at the resort on our next golfing trip to California

Hidden Gem in Santa Barbara

This course is private so we couldn't book it on any of the online sites. We decided to take a drive and check it out as it was so close to the center of Santa Barbara. What a beautiful facility we found when we arrived and in pristine condition. We were very lucky that we were there on a very quiet Monday afternoon and also that my husband had been a member of a McKenzie designed course in NZ. The very helpful professional allowed us on the course at a discount rate (full visitor would have been $300) and we felt very privileged to have been allowed to play there. The course was challenging without having a lot of water hazards - lots of bunkers though and elevations. The course condition could not have been better and was full of wildlife. The views down to the water from the elevated clubhouse were great. Sadly there was no food & beverage service while we were there as we would have loved to stay for refreshments after the game. They have cottages to rent there and that would be very worthy of checking out.

Nice Course close to Solvang

We played on a Friday morning and the course was practically empty. I waited in the pro shop to buy tees for 10 minutes but the guy didn't interrupt his phone call to serve me so I can't rate the friendliness of staff very high. Otherwise it was a nice course which provided a bit of challenge, especially when you hadn't played it before and couldn't see where the hazards were.

Challenging Course but Enjoyable

We have played many of the courses in Palm Springs but none of the PGA courses before. We played around mid day for a special half price deal through Golfnow so the value was good for a course of this quality. We found the 2 island greens pretty unforgiving being average golfers but fun none the less.

Enjoyable Palm Springs Course with a bit of history

We are a golfing couple who have been going to Palm Springs area to play golf for a few years now but had never played this course before. We both enjoyed our round here and would go back. The course was in great condition and is great value for money for it's central Palm Springs location.

Played after the Flood Damage

Enjoyed our round even though the fairways were in terrible shape and overseeded due to damage by a recent flood. We played with a local member who was friendly and apologised up front for the condition of the course. Play was a bit slow with a group of 5 up front so we finished in about 4.5 hours. The clubhouse facilities were very good.

Nice course - well run

We played the Revere last time we were on holiday in Vegas and were not disappointed on our return visit. The course is well maintained and well run. We were a 3-some and seemed like we had the course to ourselves. Play was at our own pace teeing off at 9.30am and we finished in about 3 and a half hours.

Over-rated

Was expecting something better based on golf now reviews. Course condition wasn't that great. Play was slow with 2 groups of 5 in front of us. They were members so this was apparently OK and they said they wouldn't hold us up but we waited on most holes. The clubhouse was impressive. There are much nicer courses to play if you drive a little further for the same money or less. Try the Revere Club courses.

Nice courses in a Retirement Community

The course was well maintained and not very busy. We were playing just as a couple and moving very quickly until some members came out of their house and joined the field in front of us. The courses are in a beautiful setting in a retirement community up in the hills. We were told at that the courses that side of the freeway could get high winds but conditions were superb the day we played. We finished in well under 4 hours and enjoyed an early happy hour with extremely reasonably priced drinks and food at the clubhouse.
