Morley Hayes Hotel & Golf - Manor Course
Played On 08/03/2017Excellent course in peaceful surroundings
Wow, love this course. Prices are high in the spike bar, but the view up there is nice!
Bits of water and hazards to keep you on your game! The greens, fairways, bunkers and tee boxes were all perfect, despite the rain recently.
Lovely to see all the deer run across going down the 13th, topped off a great day.

Loved the day out, course was great, food was nice but expensive, £6 for a cob is a bit steep!
This will be a repetition but a bit of work on the tee boxes would be a great addition to a well laid out course. All tee boxes were uneven and the greens could do with an iron. All bunkers had leaves in which was an annoying addition to being in a bad place!
But a great day out. Thanks

This course is always well looked after and can be played all year round.
Yes, there are the odd winter greens or hole set ups but that just protects the main greens for the better weather months! There are 2 par there's that are set up different to any other time of year but these are still tricky and the one temp green is as good as the others! The other is a different tee position but it's still a test over the water!
The only down side was that the greens had been treated with a blue/green treatment of some sort. This got all over your hands and clothes but has washed out.
It can get congested around the middle part of both 9's as the par 3's are close together, but soon spreads out again.
