Before you go to heaven you should play this course. I did.

This course was not difficult to play. That's good when you want to take you child out to play. Even though my son is learning the game, the course allowed him to play without too much relying on best ball.

This is a very challenging course. If you like to have fun playing a round of golf with positive stress, this is the course for you.

This was a challenging course that rewards fairway shots and penalizes you for going into the rough.

The course is a challenging course. I always enjoy the round. Greens were slow and not in the greatest shape. Had a good time anyway.

Most of the greens are burnt, which does not allow you to have a clean putt. This course use to be one of the finest short courses in Sacramento area. Somehow it has gone down, Too expensive for a course not well maintained. With a little attention it can be what it use to be.

Golfers, in your lifetime you must play this course. It is heaven on earth in term of beautiful golf courses and it has all the challenges one could ask for. This course is NOT for beginners. A treasure in the hills of Auburn.

My first time playing @ Ancil Hoffman. Reminds me of the muni courses in San Francisco and Oakland, lots of trees, must hit your fairways on drive in order to score. The pleasure was all mine.

It was 100 degrees and there was no water. One marshal on the front nine who ran out of water and no water on the back. This has to change.

Good course to play. However, the last two times I played there it was very slow play. No marshal's on course. Water in coolers warm, not cold on a hot day .

I truly enjoyed this challenging course. Greens are in excellent shape. Pace of play a little slow, but not as bad as some places.
