Did not disclose that 3 holes not available for play. Was charged full amount for green fee ( golfnow) and cart (at course). Tried unsuccessfully for a partial cart refund but course staff would not co-operate.

Had to wait 30 minutes after tee time to launch. There was no staff to ensure people were teeing off in the proper order or moving forward in a timely fashion. Delays at every tee off. Got to 6th hole to see 2 groups on the fairway and 3 in queue to tee off. Had enough. Went back to clubhouse and got refund.

This may have been a top resort in its day but there was apply evidence of decay. The place appeared to be in advanced stages of decay and badly needs extensive repairs to turn the tide. The course will suffer the same fate if there is not an injection of capital.

Appears all efforts are to add to buildings and the golf course is being neglected. The maintence staff should be fired unless the object is to turn the golf course into a cow pasture.

Lovely course in excellent condition.
Played best ball with spouse and did well except for around/on greens which were hard and fast. A small change in power put on chips/putts went from coming up short to going well past the hole.

Gave us option of playing as twosome which was unusual. Agreed to have 2 singles join us which turned out to be most enjoyable.
Course has improved and is now great value for the money.

We were concerned about getting 18 holes in with a 1:37 tee time and not be able to start until some carts came available. However the starter suggested we switch from the south to east course (less water to deal with) and we finished in under 4 hours. The layout was generous/fair and the course was in good shape. A treat!!

Enjoyed the layout but the greens are small and tricky.

This place seems to overcrowd the course and does not marshall the traffic. We got the twilight fee for a 2:12 PM start which meant 18 holes was still doable. However it was 2:30 PM before we got off and the people ahead of us played at a leisurely pace. At one point we skipped a hole in an attempt to finish before dark but to no avail as the course was loaded with more turtle golfers.

The staff were efficient and friendly. We got on the course on time and the round moved along nicely.

The greens were fast compared to the previous 2 courses we played in Florida.

At $60/person it was a bit expensive.

Our foursome had a 11:45 tee time but there was a large group assembled at the first hole. They let us off the back 9 which we completed in 1 hour because there was no one in front of us. Unfortunately the last 9 holes was a 2 hour ordeal.

We had a 1:15 PM tee time but there was a line up waiting for carts to come off the course so we couldn't get underway until 1:45. We waited on almost every hole before launching our drives.

It appeared to be a case of overbooking.

The course itself was okay.

No idea how this place got rated that high. Fairways had weeds and little grass. The greens (good shape) are small. No comparison to Colivista, Blue Bonnet Hill, Highland Lakes and Lago Vista.

Generous fairways and good sized greens plus rolling topography makes for pleasurable round. Could use more ball washers as ball picked up mud each time it landed.

first course we played in Texas so hard to compare

Great course providing a modest challenge in scenic setting.

Fairways and greens were in better shape than other courses we played via GolfNow prepaid deals. Good mix between challenging shots and less risky ones.

We were not familiar with the course and we were not teamed with anyone. Most holes had water in play either running along the fairways and/or to shoot over to reach the green. That layout required precision shots often beyond our abilities leading to some fustration.

Good value for the money. Water and bush present but does not create fear as they are not imposing threats.
