The course was out of my price range for quite some time , but the Golf Now access changed that entirely. It is now a very good value and will play it again.

A wide open fairly straight course, a few blind shots. Greens are fair and true , love the Island Green with the swell in the middle..

Depending on the tee box you play , it can be a brute especially when the wind is up. Some forced carries can be tough. It is a little pricy but they have specials as a web site subscriber, that is if you get them sent to you, they have some administration issues to remedy..

The tee shots on almost every hole is very tight, many of the fairways slope at the fringes towards the rough. The rough is somewhat forgiving but trees come into play regularly if you miss the fairway. Very scenic and a good degree of water comes into play . If you are a fan of target golf this is a must play..

If your are starting to spray the ball around , this course will ease the pain. The fairways are generally wide and the rough is manageable .

Many par 3's, if you are looking for target golf and short iron work this is a great spot. Narrow landing areas and decent greens.

For a local municipal course it is a great deal, will play it again..

If you are in the Port Carling , it is a must play. You will not be disappointed in any aspect of Windemere.

The Fox is a short course, terrible fairways, dry weedy. The greens are grainy extremely sloping and inconsistent .

The Bear is much better, good fairways , above average green , nice layout..

We were to play the Otter but a "EIGHT" cart back up on the first par 3, forced us to leave (men's night"), they we nice enough to let us play the Bear, otherwise it would have been a total waste of money and time ..

Lee Trevino has created a real gem, a fair test for anyone. The course staff have it in good shape, the greens are really fast.. A fun day !!!

If you cannot play out of the sand this course will eat you up. Almost every hole has fairway bunkers and if ball control is not your strength you will find them. Green conditions are excellent and run smooth and true. The community attached to the course is right out of a European village, quite nice.

Meet two locals, terrific guys, they said they have been playing for 20 years, and I can see why . A really good deal , with a good layout, used almost every club in the bag.

The day was cold and wet but the course is in great shape and made the trip with it.

The discount from Golf Now made this a very reasonable deal, I don't feel $70+ ,(the regular rate) is worth it. The best sweet bar I have ever seen on a golf course.
