Where to start? My suggestion is to stop reading save some time and pick another course. To begin, at check in, one of the 2 guys at the front desk didn’t understand my question about what putting position were they using today, his partner was able to tell me they use the color system. Went to the range and tried to find a space that had a few weeds instead of dirt to warm up on.
First 3 holes went fine until looking for the 4 tee. We drove down a path that took us through some underpass filled with homeless trash and then to a frisbee park. Flipped it around and took a different branch of the road and came to another park, definitely not it. Decided to drive back to the 3rd green and found an unmarked semi worn trail to the 4th. Back to golf and at 10:00 they are mowing the lawns on the front 9, not really sure why, the course was so poorly watered it didn’t have much grass. We did run into 2 great employees, the cart girl and girl working the restaurant were super friendly and helpful. On one hole there was a guy that I can only guess working for the course that was hitting balls from the creek back onto the course and collecting them. Finally at the last hole there was a tree trimming crew with their truck parked in the creek and their workers taking breaks laying down under the trees on the fairway. Maybe in the spring it’s playable, but avoid the summer. I don’t believe I saw any water jugs on the course.

Course had some interesting holes, but lacked a true Hawaiian feel. Uninteresting landscapes and many condos dominated the round. Green had been freashly sanded without notice and there were many dry spots around the green. Have never played a course with crushed coral in the bunkers, it wasn't difficult to to hit out of, but it made for tough putting. It was like watching a pinball machine.

Course was dry, greens bumpy, and the tee boxes were in bad shape.

Lots of challenging doglegs and par 3's. Greens were tough, but fair and rolled well.
