Good golf course with generous fairways and smooth greens. Most of the holes had some kind of water hazard. There are some very beautiful views among the tall pine trees.

Liked the variety of the holes. Some good doglegs and very white powdery sand.

Staff was friendly.

Overall, I thought the course was one of good value. I would return if in the area again.

The front none was closed for re-piping. Back nine fairways were in pretty good shape. Greens were also in pretty good shape but were a little slow. I play this course about once a month. This was the best I have seen it in a year.

I am a 13 handicaper and found the course to be challenging and interesting. Very much enjoyed the monument signs on the course pointing out the various houses along the fairways.

Looking forward to playing the course again.

Course was recently re-seeded and we had to keep our carts on the cart path only. As a result, there was a lot of walking. Greens were a little slow.

Layout was interesting as the course ran along side several canyons so there are some long carries at times.

I liked the layout. Greens were very challenging and rough was more difficult to get out of than the average course. On the down side, the fairways and tee boxes were almost like dirt and sorely needing water. It did not look like players repaired their ball marks.

A lot of thought and money went into the design of this golf course. If the course conditions improved, I would recommend this golf course to others.

Greens were in good condition. Fairways in places were a little rough. Tee books were average. Played course in 3 hours. Layout was average to above average.

Many of the bunkers were under repairs.

Interesting layout. All of the holes are unique. This is a challeneging golf course for a low to mid handicaper. For a high handicaper (over 20), the course would be very difficult. Greens were in excellant shape but tee boxes and fairways could be improved. Bunkers could use some more sand.

I enjoyed the course very much and plan to play it again.

The day I played there were very few golfers on the course so I did not play with anyone. I would have rather played with at least one other player.

Regarding the condition of the course, I believe it was in poor condition other than the greens which were in excellant condition. The pace of the greens was a little faster than the average pace of public golf course greens but were very fair in terms of the modest slopes on them. The fairways were a completely different story. It looked like they were very seldom watered and finding grass and a clean lie in the fairway was next to impossible. This may be due to the water shortage in Cali. I would make a few changes such as taking the tree out of the middle of the 9th fairway which comes into play on the tee shot would be one of the changes I would make.

Over all, I very much liked the layout. There were plenty of interesting holes. It is a good test for a mid range handicaper. I happen to be a 12 handicap.

I was told that the Valley Course was in better condition than the Mountain Course. If that is true, I would hate to play on the Mountain Course.

In short, management needs to figure out a way to get more water on the fairways before I could recommend this golf course.
