I’ve been playing here for decades now and it’s always been great. I think this time was the best shape the course has been since I started playing here.

I had been looking forward to playing here for a while and finally got the chance. It was way busier than I expected for a weekday midday. Course conditions were fair at best, but the layout is boring besides the elevation changes. Pace of play was okay, but some of the people on the course were very rude. We got barked at on the first tee by the people behind us and then got hit into (ball landed about 10 feet away) on #12 because the people behind us apparently forgot we were all backed up waiting. The elevation changes on the back nine make it difficult to focus without worrying about stray balls flying at you and the cart paths throughout the course force you to wait along side the precious green in dangers way. Last, you also have to drive through the busy parking lot three times in the round with no cart lanes which is very dangerous. I wanted to really like this place, but I probably won’t be coming back.

Reminiscent of East Lake (which hosts the Tour Championship). With about a week of warm weather, the place would have looks perfect. Would absolutely recommend if you’re in the area.

Played here on a Saturday morning. I’ve always loved this course but this experience wasn’t one to remember. Log jammed on the first tee, it started to spread out until the fourth hole. Group in front of me on the fourth tee (where I waited 30 minutes) angrily told me as a single to back off because they weren’t going to let me through and didn’t care where I had to be. Then on the fifth tee where I waited 45 minutes, some staff from the course seemingly encouraged slow play. They also suggested that I would be out there until dark (some 10 hours away) and there was nothing they could do about it. I proceeded to jump from #5 to #16, play my way in, and leave the course as soon as possible. Second worst experience on a course in my life. Very unhappy.

Basic Country Club at an average price. If you’re looking for a round at a reasonable price with the right course conditions, this is the place in Cadillac. Pace of play is also always really great. I played alone in about 2 hours with no delays behind people.

The greens were in pretty good shape but the rest of the course was very rough. For ten dollars though it was worth it.

Course is not worth $50. Rack rate is currently $78. The course conditions have continued to slip in the past few years. Rough had a lot of weeds and the greens were still really bumpy from aeration. It is a good track, although holes 7-12 are really bland. Pace of play was also terrible. We got stuck behind a weekend warrior foursome that wouldn't let us through. No ranger around to tell them to let us pass. There was like five holes open in front of them by time we got out to #8 where you can see the rest of the course.

Only person on the course on a rainy weekday. Staff was great and welcoming. Course is amazing as are the views. From a forward tee it looks very playable for an average golfer. But from the tips, it was a stern and sometimes brutal test for me even as a 2 handicap. A must play!

I have played this course multiple times per year over the past decade and the conditions this April were the best I have seen in years. The greens are really starting to make a comeback and the course was in extremely good condition. Also, this course is one of the few in the area which have a GolfNow Hot Deal Tee Time attached to it, which makes it much more affordable than other area courses.

Eagle Glen has been on my yearly playing list for years now and always has been in my top 5 in the state. This course easily bests many others which have green fees twice to thrice the cost at Eagle Glen. Playing conditions this year we’re also the best I have ever seen at Eagle Glen. A must play, especially on your way to locations farther north for the weekend.
