Greens were in good condition overall, but fairways were cut way too short. Every shot from the fairway was a "tight lie". Would recommend playing this course when the Bermuda comes back in spring-Summer.

First time back playing the course since Summer 2024 upgrades were made. Really like the new carts and the repairs to cart paths that were badly needed. Course was in good shape as well. Still would like to see tees that play at about 5400-5500 ands 4000-4500 yards to accommodate senior and younger junior golfers. A 1,000 yard difference between tees is too large versus today’s USGA “Play-it-Forward” initiatives!

Have played this course several times and enjoyed it. However, it's been mowed so short that fairways were down to the dirt/mud in Winter-- was easier to hit from the rough! Will come back in Spring when its green and reasonably playable.

40 years ago I lived on the first fairway of Belair. This was a great little exec style course that I enjoyed. Now it appears little has been done to maintain it. Tee boxes were rough, cart paths were broken and rough, greens did not roll well or true, and many areas off the fairway were as much dirt as grass. Also all tee markers were in the same place on most holes…WTH? Someone who truly loves golf needs to buy this course, restore its potential, and charge a few bucks more per round to keep it up!

HRCC has tees that fit every level of golfer and all ages. Best in the Allen-McKinney area!

Have played HRCC several times, and the course is always well-groomed, the staff friendly, and the pace of paly good. Recommended!

Twin Creeks is a Palmer-designed mini with a few quirky holes, but overall playable by most level golfers. Bunkers were are being redone along with the surrounding sod. New sand being put in looked good compared to many area courses which are closer to dirt than sand!

The course was in good condition. Fairly hilly layout and several water holes were challenging for 75+ senior players.

Of all public courses we have played in the Mckinney/Allen/Fairview/Plano area, this course is the worst with respect to condition, least groomed and the least playable by all golfers. Unlike most area courses, this course only has 3 real tees ((7000/6000/5000), and is not enjoyably playable for seniors or young golfers. There is little "play it forward" option here. McKInney's city council needs to get off its tail, and bring this course up to the standard of Twin Creeks or Pecan Hollow, for example, since it's the only course we have!.

Nice little exec course for a quick round. Greens are well kept, and fairways on par 4s are fine. Rough is just deep enough to hide balls, so keep an eye on where it lands!

Nice course for a quick 9 holes. Only complaint is that they leave the rough a little too long. Balls setle down into the thick Bermuda! Makes balls hard to find, and slows pace of play!

Nice exec course in excellent shape. Rough could be a bit shorter and the bunkers should be groomed daily., but still a nice 9 holes for a quick round and/or practice. Really like the 3 par 4s. Greens were excellent. Will play again

Mr Palmer did a nice job with this muni layout. Last 2-3 holes are a challenge for us bogey golfers, but very fair. Would prefer that the greens were aerated and over-seeded for Winter as they are too fast for most amateurs.

Plano has done a great job of keeping the course in shape for Winter play. Greens were bit fast for our taste, but rolled vey smoothly. Will definitely play again.

This is a beautiful course (in good condition) with a few quirky holes that made it challenging for an 18 handicap. Thankfully, we (my wife and I) played with two nice gentlemen who knew the course and could offer help on what the best shot placement was. While we enjoyed the day, this would not be our first choice for our next round, just due to some very difficult holes.

Second time playing this course, and enjoyed it very much. Only question is why the greens are not over-seeded? They were very fast due to Bermuda being dormant and mowed extremely short (almost to dirt). Tee boxes had been over-seeded, but not yet mowed.

Round would have been great in better weather. We had musty rain and temps some 15-20 degrees below normal. We will be back again to play this well-maintained course.
