Otter Creek Golf Club
Played On 05/09/2022Some great features, but...
The greens and fairways are excellent and would match any course in Ontario! Unfortunately, the bunkers have been abandoned and you have to use a rake to create a reasonable surface from which to play. Layout is interesting and challenging with possible exception of #9.
Mount Elgin Golf Club
Played On 06/17/2019Nice Mature Traditional Style Course
We played this mature, wooded course in less than three hours as it was not at all busy this afternoon. The course conditions were excellent and the greens quite fast with some tricky, subtle breaks. A number of greens are domed making them hard to hold, and sometimes frustrating. The fairways were well kept and the rough cut to reasonable length. The only suggestion for improvement would be better signage with directions to the next tee as it can be confusing in spots.
Greens at Renton - Blue Nine
Played On 07/26/2017Enjoyable Golf Outing
Except for the bunkers (some of which appear to have been abandoned), this course is in very good condition. We played the Red/Blue nines and found them interesting and challenging but playable. The greens were smooth and quite fast and the fairways well maintained. The course was busy and we had to wait some (apparently not unusual on Wednesdays). We were impressed with the courtesy and friendliness of the staff and really felt welcome here. We will be back!
Country Club of Sebring

The rain this fall has made the course conditions the best I have ever experienced at this interesting course. The fairways are lush and the greens smooth and moderately fast. The GolfNow price was a bonus.
Santee National Golf Club
Played On 11/11/2015Fine Course Suffering from Heavy Rains
Heavy rains in the area soaked this course restricting cart use to paths only. There were many wet spots on the fairways that affected play. The good news is that the moisture is causing the winter grass to take root well, and the fairways will soon be in great condition. This is a fine course with a nice variety of hole layouts. The greens are excellent and quite fast.

Played On 06/18/2015Not What it Used to Be!
This once fine course has been allowed to deteriorate through lack of proper maintenance. Even the basics - cutting weeds, sand for bunkers, regular mowing of tees - have been neglected. SAD!!
Dutch Hollow Country Club
Played On 08/10/2014Not Fancy, but Very Good
The greens separate this course from the ordinary. They are large and in excellent condition and provide plenty of challenge, especially the "turtleback" ones. There is an interesting variety of holes and some elevation changes. Water hazards come into play on nine holes and wooded areas can catch wayward shots. If you love natural beauty but don't care about manicured tees, flower beds, and a fancy clubhouse, you will love this course.

Played On 08/08/2014A Challenging but Playable Public Course
We were pleasantly surprised by this course. It had plenty of challenge especially the front nine. Most holes had serious trouble in back of them making distance control on the approach shots critical. The carts had high tech GPS that helped a lot. Some of the fairways were narrow with thick woods to take in errant drives. Greens were reasonably fast and in good condition. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Played On 8/14/2013Playable yet challenging course in good condition.
Great course for a couple with midrange handicaps. Course is in good condition with mature trees and parkland atmosphere. Traffic noise from Highway 401 is a bit of a distraction on one hole, and holes 15 and 16 are "Mickey Mouse" par threes with cross traffic, but the other holes make up for these deficiencies.

Played On 3/16/2013Nice layout with variety of holes
This course is in good condition in the fall, but suffers from drought by February and March. New owners making a real effort to improve the course and conditions.
North Course at Highlands Ridge
Played On 2/19/2013Best course in the Sebring area
This is my favorite course in the area. It is always in good condition, and the greens are moderately fast. There is a nice variety of hole layouts. The white tees at 6122 yards provide a playable challenge for a mid-teens handicapper.
