First off, the negative reviews have not overstated how bad course conditions are, but don’t let that scare you away. The course layout, and the use of varying terrain (quite extreme by Florida standards) made for an exciting day. All things considered, it was great day of golf. Highly recommended if you’re willing to play on terrible greens, and like the $30 price.

Upon arrival we were informed that the course was in the best shape it's been in for a while. I actually believe them. It wasn't the worst course conditions in town, but it was very not good. There were some nicely designed holes, which made for an okay day at the golf course. There were also dirt/mud bunkers--most of which had standing water--which were completely unplayable, fairways without much grass, "rough" with next to no grass, and greens that the fringe rolled faster and truer than the green. One bunker was actually sand, but had so full of weeds and overgrowth, that it didn't even look like a bunker from the approach. It was clearly a great course at one time, but that time is in the distant past. The management has run this place into the ground with a complete disregard for maintenance. Such a shame. I hope they manage to turn it around.

Great course. Perfect course conditions. Fast, receptive greens with plenty of break. They were challening, but fair. The fairways and tee boxes were in top-notch condition. Course design among the best in the area. Beautiful holes that make you play smart golf. The golf experience was incredible. The parking experience, on the other hand, was not so great. Plan an extra 15-20 minutes to deal with valet. And allow plenty of time to warm up at their first rate practice facility.
