I last played Maple Moor at the beginning of the season. Greens and bunkers are in great shape. The fairways are good in about half the par 4 and par 5 holes, but the recent rains has required cart path-only on the other half. For all the money that was spent on improving course drainage a few years ago, it's a bit disappointing that standing water is still an issue. That said, it was a quite enjoyable afternoon with the three other singles with whom I was paired.

First time playing the course this season, and one can only be impressed by its terrific shape, especially greens, tees and bunkers. Cudos to the new head groundkeeper and the entire staff,

First time playing the course in four years. This is a lovely tract, but the greens are totally, utterly unplayable.

First time playing in two years. The course is in great shape, with the exception of the fringes on several greens, which have partially grown into rough. Staff is terrific. Will be back.

Suggestion: Put the gold tees on the scorecard!

First time playing the course in several years. Fairways and bunkers are in great shape. Greens were recently aerated, so not in optimal condition quite yet. A tad hilly, but fairly easy to walk with a Sunday bag carrying. Staff is terrific. Very accommodating and helpful. Will be back soon!

Wescott never disappoints and I always make it a point ti play there on my annual trip to Summerville to visit friends. The course is in great shape. Played Burn and Black Robin. Welcoming fairways, strategically placed bunkers and challenging greens. The greens were recently aerated, so putting is tricky for now. Highly recommend the course..

Sterling is one of my favorite courses, which I've played for a decade now and which I played for the first time this season yesterday. The fairways and greens are in good - very good shape, but OMG, the bunkers . . . all of them . . . are in terrible condition. Hitting out of them is like hitting out of a gravel pit. Deplorable for a course of this calibre. What would have been a solid 4-star review is barely a 3-star one. The bunkers need fixing pronto!

Fun course. Wide, accepting fairways. Greens in great shape. Bunkers were hard due to recent rains and should be tended at the beginning of each day to ensure reasonable play. Plays long, so tee it forward. Green tees are plenty long for a handicap in the teens.

The’ve gone back to 8 minute tee time intervals (from 10). Yesterday’s round was over 5 hours (supposed to he 4) waiting on almost every shot. So prepare for a longer day or find somewhere else to play.

The course is in very good shape considering the time of year, and much, much better than in May when I played here last, .but all the leaves have decided to come down at once. Good luck finding a ball if your shots aren’t pin-point accurate. Have someone in your group spot you regardless of how good you think you are in tracking your ball! Way too
many ball marks on the greens. At check-in, management needs to remind golfers to fix marks when the see them and rangers need to remind golfers as they make their rounds. The leaves and ball marks are all that separate a three from a four star review.

Long, very long from the White tees. Virtually every shot is “grip it and rip it.” Course is in great shape, albeit with a few greens still recovering from recent aeration. Very pretty mountain course with not a lot of bunkering and barely any water. Topography is forgiving to the extent that I didn’t lose a ball, which is rare for me.

This Arnold Palmer course is extremely well designed. Every hole is a challenge and each one is unique. You will use every club in your bag and need to improvise with some of them. Unfortunately, the course is in serious disrepair. All the bunkers are stone or sand/dirt that's turned to concrete and rough is way too high. This is a great shame. I can't recommend the course at all until they get their act together.

It’s a struggle to lose a ball on this exceptionally well maintained inland links course. Pretty much any ball off the Par 4 and Par 5 holes will find a fairway, although maybe not the one you were aiming for. The course design is not particularly interesting, but the greens are lightening fast, the vistas are great, and the staff is first rate.

Sprain is my “go-to” local course. Always fun, but the rough is too high, the fairways also need mowing and some of the greens need a haircut and are a bit beaten up for early mid-season.
