Old, tired, unkept. Greens were pretty quick but had a weird track pattern on them. Still putted well. Great course for beginners, high handicappers, wide fairways easy to keep in play. Houses are very near fairways on some holes.

Slow play good greens cart guy said this was the busiest day of the year so far. Five hour round. No marshals or anyone encouraging folks to move along. Greens not bad, couple of excellent driving holes for accuracy. Average Course. Good par fives 550+ interesting layout with driving range, mats, just in front of Embassy suites so a lot of pool action going on there. Overall fun day nice people to play with OK experience.

Wide open course with Lush fairways and better than average greens. Great course for those who don’t hit the ball straight all the time. Wide and forgiving fairways. Great par fives, all over 500 yards from the black tees. A few challenging holes but for the most part just straightforward Golf with Excellent condition. Nice warm up range and putting green. Drink cart came by one time in four hours. No other facilities on the course at this time.

The North course is very well-maintained. Excellent fairways and tee boxes. Greens were a little spotty in places but overall smooth and fast. Played with a 15 mile an hour wind early in the morning, cold increases the difficulty. II think the slope rating for both the north and south courses are under what a comparable course would be. The sloping of the greens and placement of bunkers make approach shots very challenging. The North course is receiving the maintenance and upkeep of the two courses.

Apparently Terra Lago is intentionally letting the South course deteriorate. It appears they are investing more in the North course with water and keeping the green spaces looking good. The greens on the south course are not too bad the tee boxes were filled in. However the general condition of the course is getting worse from year to year. They are insistent and paranoid about anyone not bringing food or drinks on the course. During the four hour 18 hole round we saw the refreshment cart one time. And there are no drinks or food facilities at the restaurant or anywhere else on the grounds at this time. The rate through golf pass is not too bad, but for the money I think the North course is the best offering.
