Have been playing here for a number of years and more and more the last couple because a friend loves it here and now I do too. The more I play it, the more I love this course. It is perfectly manicured, the rough is lush, the greens could be faster, but they are cut well, in good condition, and rolled. You never can play this course the same and I am not tiring of playing here. Also has the best sand in the area. Really just a gorgeous course, well maintained, great golf, lots of fun. Greens were in good shape, faster and truer than average. Always a great course. Really nice that it is close to home as well.

The greens were some of the most beautiful, best and true rolling that I have seen only on a few other courses. More public courses need to do what Mackray does on greens. Beautiful day topped off by beautiful course. And the clubhouse is outstanding, suitable for my wife and I to dine after our round. Not that many clubhouses are that elegant, that good of food, nice environment. It is nearly an hour drive for us from Hinsdale, but well worth it.

I normally love this course but was lured in with a lower fee only to be fit in around a golf outing that took over 5 1/2 hours. I think this course should either not sell these tee times, or at least fully disclose that we weill be fit in around a golf outing. I feel I and my time were abused. Beware of lower tee fees to fill in a couple of holes in the schedule!

Pleasantly surprised. A very nice course. Greens slow and spongy but upkeep was good. Not a great course, but certainly a good one and a good value. Not disappointed at all.

Very pleased. I go around to a lot of courses. Springbrook was surprisingly very nice. Good condition, fast greens that role true, with nice elevations and trees around. Overall very nice and surprising gem.

Nice course. Moderate difficulty. Would play again and recommend to friends.

Drove by the other day coming home from 7 Bridges and stopped to look at the course which looked nice. Looked online for a deal and was surprised at how much they normally charge for this 9 hole gem. Too much! But found a deal for less than half and gave it a try. Pleasantly surprised at what a nice, well-maintained little course. I will return if i find a good 9-hole price online.

Absolutely one of the best courses i have ever played and such a beautiful course. Greens fast and true, very well maintained, challenging course, and so beautiful! I want to go back asap!

I played this course the day before and liked holes 4-7 and noone was on the course so went back the next day at the same time to replay but my patients took a little longer than expected and was going to be 20 minutes late and called andrew at club and to my surprise, he wouldnt let me play! Stating that too many golfnow customers abuse the tee time on hot deals. Ive never been refused before and by the end of phone call was at the course and noone was on the course again and there was another golfnow hot deal online in the next couple of minutes that was still unsold. I think he could have easily let me play! Wont go back.

Normally would not pay the high fees to experience this course, but got a deal online and tried it. What a great course! More links style, but challenging. Perfect shape, true rolling greens with good pace of play. Club is first rate, service is there with private clubs. Only wish green fees were less! But, terrific course!

Sunday it rained all day, but because there was no lightening, they wouldnt close the course, so i had to play or lose my money. Crazy! I played, but water was pooling on the greens, impossible to putt, and got soaked. This policy needs to change. Cant believe the guys threr wouldnt give me a break. I wouldnt go back.

Enjoyed playing. Looks wide open but looks are deceiving! Greens rolled true. Please tell me why the green at 14 rolls so much left to right when there's hardle any pitch or break!

Love the course! Pin placement first time we played was ridiculous...on humps, crowns, and the most severe pitch part of the greens. Second time we played pins were reasonable but played from blues which were set way back, literally from the tips. So I wonder if management does this to jack up slope?mnot sure, but a very nice course all the same.

Shorter course. Pretty course with lots of vegetation. Once you go around you can get scores down even from black tees. Not a real difficult course but plenty nice for most golfers

Not accommodating as the two times I played there it was not easy getting to play 18. One 9 hole was closed the other was supposedly crowded though it didn't look it and if you r going to sell a tee time don't u think we should have 18 available? Otherwise don't make me drive 30 mins out there n not have option to play. 18!
