The overseeing caused wet conditions which should not be a factor in a couple weeks. A couple of funky holes I forgot about from when I played before but overall a good tract.

Got a great last minute deal and found the experience very enjoyable. I played from the white rather than the senior tees and was glad I did because the roll out on tee and fairway shots made up for the extra distance. Grrens were in good shape albeit a little slow. Traps could use more sand.

4 couples played here after a day at Currituck on the OBX. It was an enjoyable round but take note of three things - 1st, choose your tees carefully and don't just go by the yardage - 2nd, know that quite a few holes are cart path only (curbs prevent you from getting to the fairway to get your ball) - and 3rd, be aware that some of the sight lines on the holes can mess with your mind. You almost have to play it more than once to get a feel for where to place shots. The greens are fairly undulating but were in great shape and putted true. I would definitely play here again although it was a little pricey.

4 couples traveled a couple of hundred miles to play here and another course on the Outer Banks. Currituck was a very scenic venue. We totally enjoyed ourselves and the weather was perfect. Quite a mix of hole set ups and luckily the wind was with us on more than half the holes. The greens were a little bumpy but putted reasonably true. Our biggest gripe was that the bar closed by 5:30 so we weren't able to enjoy a beer after the round to congratulate the winners. What course closes the bar with players still out on the course?

One of the best private clubs in Charlotte and the South course is clearly it's jewel. The greens were still recovering from being punched several weeks ago but putted pretty true. Cost was a little pricey but it was a pleasure just to get to play it.

Good course and great value especially during the week and if you are a senior. Lots of elevation changes and both short and long par 4's. It's a course we enjoy every time we visit the area.
