Had a great time playing the course again. The fairways were in great shape on well positioned shots. Off the fairway presents challenges but score-able on well struct balls. Be sure you club up on he elevated holes or you may wind up short. The green sizes are ample with some tiered to catch a decent approach. Might even catch a birdie or two playing to the middle.

Whether local or while visiting this historic area, Colonial Heritage provides a beautiful setting with rolling hills and woods on many holes. It’s become my favorite to play. Now about playing golf. Newcomers may find it a bit difficult with elevated and blind shots as it meanders through the neighborhood and woods. There are tee boxes for all level of player. If in the area, don’t miss your chance of playing this well conditioned course.

First time playing this beautiful course at Ford’s Colony, Williamsburg. Considered by staff as the best courses on site to play. Well placed shots score well, but a stray or poorly struck ball provides various challenges. The island greens are fun to negotiate, with water on many other holes. Blackheath, in my opinion, has been the best I’ve played in Williamsburg. Don’t forget the professional practice facilities and the experienced staff. Curbside service at its best.

Was able to play the course again while visiting the area. Interesting course that plays links style golf. The difficulty comes in by not approaching the greens from the fairways. The roughs are tough especially when off of the secondary cuts. The greens were pretty slow from lots of rain. But generally an overall satisfactory, easily accessible golf course.

The Colonial Heritage golf course offers one of the most challenging golf experience you can have while in the Williamsburg VA area. The fairways are wide but sweep down him then uphill. There are a few interesting blind shots that if positioned well in the fairway presents good opportunity for a birdie on a good approach. The greens run fast so hit your line and check your putting speed. There are a number of beautiful wooded carries to negotiate. Just a beautiful course.

Kiskiack golf club offers the best course in the area for the value. Played with a number of out of town guests and their regular membership. Course staff manages the players well with friendly golf ambassadors to assist. A full service bar and restaurant adjoins the Pro Shop. The course is challenging and hosts various tournaments. The practice facility is large with experienced PGA professional staff provide a lesson or to assist in your club selection. The course is in great condition with a beautiful sunset view coming in at hole 18 uphill with a skilled tee shot needed across the lake.

After a heavy rain the course was in pretty good shape I thought. Greens very nice. Manage tee shots on dog leg four pars for best results. I like the length of the 3 pars from the tips. Recommend.

Used as a practice course with challenging shot selections on many holes. Staff friendly and main golf surfaces kept well. Stay centered for best time and watch out for the water...try the lay up and long approach once in a while. Sometimes funner to run or fly the ball up to the green from 175-220.

I like playing the Old Suffolk course. Maybe because of the recent rains the fairways were high and greens had small uneven points. But was still fun to be out in the country hitting the ball...wasn't golfing too good that day!

Nice course to play that winds through the woods with dog legs; long 3 pars; challenging 5 pars. Bring your all around game for a good score here. Just a fun place to play.

Although I played in cold weather, the course was in very good shape and the greens well kept. The Pines have elevated greens, dog legs, long 3 and 4 pars so be prepared. Definitely, will stay on my travel course list!

Nice course for all level of players. Usually required to play with pairings when using GolfNow even with course slow.
