Summit Chase Country Club
Played On 07/23/2015Best Value
Of all the rounds I have booked with Golf Now, this was by far the best bargain. Course in absolutely pristine condition.
If there is any negative at all there are a couple of fairways that are just too narrow for the average golfer.
Chestatee Golf Club
Played On 06/29/2015Very playable.
Greens were very bumpy due to being punched a couple weeks back. Other than that the course was in great shape. Nice variety of holes on this course.- no two are alike.
Chattahoochee Golf Club
Played On 02/04/2015TOO SLOW
PACE OF PLAY was horrible. Group in front was miserably slow - mainly because they were playing at least two tees too far back. By the time we finished there were 3 (THREE) open holes in front of them and they NEVER offered to let us play through, and we were a twosome. Won't play here again any time soon.
Fields Ferry Golf Club
Played On 01/25/2015Soggy but Fun
Fields Ferry is always in good shape. Even after two inches of rain and cart path only, it was very playable. I was very surprised that there were not more players out for a very nice Sunday afternoon.
One of these days I am going to remember to take one more club than I think I need for the approach to 16. Better up on the top shelf than in the drink!
Hickory Hill Golf Course - Creekside/Roadside
Played On 09/16/2014Excellent condition.
27 holes makes for plenty of flexibility. There was a tournament going on using 18 holes. By the time I finished the other nine, the tournament was done and I had my choice of nines to finish my 18.
Challenging but very fair course. Would play it often if I lived closer by.
Monroe Golf & Country Club
Played On 09/10/2014Great condition.
I wish this course were closer because I would definitely consider membership. Great condition and very playable.
I started on 10 and when I turned, I played #6 first instead of #1. It's a par 5 just like #1 so I jumped on it. The only time I've seen three holes start that close to the clubhouse is where the course has three different nines. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
The Georgia Club - Chancellors Red/Black Course
Played On 05/27/2014Very Playable
Great course. I'm just sorry it took me so long to finally getting around to playing it. Challenging yet very fair. No tricked up holes. No blind shots. Very walkable for those who so choose. Make sure your sand game is up to speed as there are more bunkers than most courses.
Woodmont Golf & Country Club
Played On 10/09/2013Always enjoy this course even when I don't play so well.
Range being closed until almost 1:00 precluded any warmup for our group. It takes us Seniors a while to get loose. Other than that a very enjoyable round.
There appears to be little if any attempt to pair up twosomes. We let a couple of them play through which of course made our round longer.
Butternut Creek Golf Course
Played On 8/23/2013The 123 slope rating doesn't fit the tight fairways as there are only a couple of generous tee shots available. Still it's a fun course.
If you like roller coasters, you will go bonkers for this course. DO NOT be drinking and driving the golf carts. Navigating up and down some of the cart paths is a challenge for the most skilled of drivers. The course is in great shape despite all the recent rains and with the greens close to the next tee, this course can be played much quicker than most.
Bear's Best Atlanta
Played On 3/04/2013Great practice area! A treat to actually play on grass in the winter.
Only surprise is the fact that a couse of this caliber charges extra for range balls.
