PLAYED THRU GOLFNOW AS A SINGLE TO FILL OUT A THREESOME.. ON ARRIVING AT THE COURSE, THE THREESOME SHOWED UP WITH FOUR. THE PROSHOP QUICKLY MATCHED ME WITH A TWOSOME STARTING THE BACK NINE. BUSY COURSE AND THE GREENS SHOW THE TRAFFIC.

The course has a lot of up and down. Best to play a few times or play with regulars to knew what is over the hill. Greens are so soft , ball plugged. Even with
water in the bunkers and some bare spots on tee boxes
and fairways, it is a fun course.

Perfect weather in March. The greens had just been
punched and covered with sand. This was noted on the course web site. Quick and pleasant check-in. Nice practice area. A little over 4 hours for a foursome. The course was busy but we only had to wait a few minutes on one hole. Played from the whites and the course is very fair. One forced carry on number 18. Looking forward to spring when the course turns green.

WHILE VISITING TUCSON, HEARD ABOUT SADDLE BROOK. GOLFNOW PRICE WAS ALMOST FREE. THE COURSE IS QUITE ISOLATED NORTH OF TOWN. THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND GAVE SOME GOOD ADVICE. THE COURSE HAD 3 OR 4 TEMPORARY GREENS SO PLAYED LIKE A 14 HOLE COURSE. WIDE FAIRWAYS AND ONLY A COUPLE OF BLIND SHOTS. A FEW DRIVES ARE LIMITED BY " WASHES" THAT CROSS THE FAIRWAY, BUT DISTANCES GIVEN AT TEE BOX. WOULD PLAY AGAIN!

CLUB SELECTION IS VERY IMPORTANT. ALL THE PONDS,MARSH AND BUNKERS MAKE YOU THINK
ABOUT PRECISE DISTANCES NOT JUST SWINGING
FOR MAX DISTANCE. THE GREENS ROLL TRUE.

Simple par-3 course. Greens were slow. Six of the nine were "125" yards. A little boring.

Drove Thru Several Doglegs. Lost Two Balls That Way. Fairways were Firm and Brown. Bermuda not in yet. Greens are in good shape, still show some recent work. No pictures of the holes on either the scorecard or the hole yardage marker. Club selection will change on my second loop around the course.

Fair course, Greens in great shape for April 3. Homes are very close on some holes. Pace of play was slow. We followed a foursome of seniors and had to wait on every hole. No offer to play thru or marshals. One of our group quit after 13, tried of the slow play.

FIRM GREENS,UNDERSTAND THEY MIGHT BE NEW. FAIRWAYS ARE HALF GRASS AND HALF WEEDS,BUT ROLL WELL AND EASY TO HIT FROM.NICE PUBLIC COURSE.

STARTS EASY AND SLOWLY CHANGES AS YOU NEAR THE RIVER.NUMBER 17 IS INTERESTING,ISLAND GREEN.

STARTS WITH TWO EASY PAR-4'S,THEN A LONG DOGLEG RIGHT PAR 4.WATER ON RIGHT OF #4.#9 IS SHORT WITH STEEP GREEN(GREEN IS IN ROUGH SHAPE).BACK NINE IS ORDINARY UNTIL 15 THRU 17.SWING AWAY ON 18.
